Several hours later, Commander Caijoonyung was escorted by some of the castle guards into the great hall to the meeting room where the scientists, doctors, and demigods were all setup and waiting for him. While Commander Caijoonyung was being escorted by the guards, he was looking around, taking in the breathtaking sights of the castle, since this was his first time in this section of the castle. He figured he might as well get a good look at everything while he has the opportunity, because who knows when he will ever have another chance to be in this part of Topificetus and Melophilio’s castle. He was in awe that this part of the castle was made of what seemed like white marble that had glowing gold veins running throughout the walls and pillars. There were beautiful chandeliers that had crystals and gems mixed in them that would create dazzling bursts of color. There were exquisite ornate bronze wall sconces evenly spaced out that started from the beginning of this section throughout the rest of this part of the castle. On the floor was a long-running carpet the color of garnet. He almost felt bad walking on it. This was a major difference between where the common folk were allowed and where they were not allowed. The other parts of the castle that were more for the public had more of a technological interior and exterior. The white color was still there though, but instead of a glowing gold color within all that white, some parts were either glowing yellow or glowing blue. It just depended on which area you were in. Compared to the part that he was currently walking in, the public part of the castle seemed very boring and drab.
Once Commander Caijoonyung arrived and entered the meeting room, he was greeted with a room full of scientists and doctors, all of whom he had never seen or met before. This left him feeling a bit uneasy since he was still not sure of the reason why he was summoned to the demigods’ castle in the first place. The uneasiness that he was currently feeling put him on edge which made him put up his guard. After the guards announced his arrival to everyone in the room, they bowed in respect and took their leave. Commander Caijoonyung stood in the doorway in his best at-attention stance, waiting for them to permit him to be at ease. As he waited there for someone to tell him what this was all about, he saw a bunch of staff members setting up monitors, portable consoles, and various medical items. All the hustling and bustling that was happening made the room seem smaller than it actually was. They all looked like a bunch of bees buzzing around in a hive. While the staff was busy doing their own thing, he felt multiple strong presences towards the back of the room, and it was only serving to make him strengthen his guard and steel his nerves. It is like the feeling you get when you feel a strong predator hiding in the shadows waiting to pounce on you. He had to do his best to ignore that feeling. It was like an itch that you want to scratch but can’t reach it.
That was when those multiple presences that gave off a mild pressure that filled the room, became an oppressive and suffocating aura. All those auras were definitely turned towards him, and it was so oppressive, it felt like tons of weight coming down on him all at once that it almost brought him down to his knees. In his mind he had to keep telling himself to keep breathing and not to succumb to it, not to show any kind of weakness in from of the people in the room. As quickly as it started it just as quickly ended, which caused beads of sweat to drip down his face, grit his teeth, and try not to show that he was having a hard time catching his breath. He was scanning the room to see who was responsible for this, and when he found the ones responsible, he ended up locking eyes with the demigods. His eyes went wide with shock once he realized that they were not only the ones who did that to him but were present in the room the entire time. He had no clue that they completely masked themselves in shadow. Now that he realized they were there in the flesh it took but a mere moment for it to register in his mind from the shock, but he recovered his composure fast and immediately dropped to take a knee, bow his head low, and keep his eyes fixed on the floor. Melophilio was the first one to walk to him until his garment brushed up against Commander Caijoonyung. He tried to keep his heart rate down and hide how much his nerves were running high.

“Commander Caijoonyung. You may stand up now. Please forgive us for testing you in such a manner. I’m sure having us use our magic auras caused you some discomfort. Our apologies. There is a reason why we did that to you. We needed to assess how strong you are magically and physically. If you could not maintain your magic barriers and succumbed to our aura, we would have had no choice but to dismiss you. Enough about that, I’m sure you have a great many questions that you want to ask us, like why you were summoned here and why we are here as well. Please come this way and take a seat over here,” Melophilio said as he swept his hand towards the chairs over at the other end of the room where the doctors and scientists were with all of the equipment.
#
Cautiously he made his way to where the Melophilio directed him. Inside his head, he was not sure what to make of this situation and decided that it was probably for the best to keep his guard up just in case the demigods had other sneaky tests planned. Caijoonyung tried his best to not think of them negatively, so he tried to rationalize what happened by telling himself that they were THE demigods and would never do anything to hurt him. But he wasn’t so sure since they had decided to display their powers like that. Caijoonyung did his best to casually walk to his seat and sit there as calmly as he could and not let them see how nervous he was.
Once he was seated, the other demigods that were still masking themselves in the shadows suddenly appeared and took their seats. Topificetus looked at the doctors and scientists and asked if everything was ready so they could commence the meeting. One of the scientists told them that the transmission was ready, and the connection was strong and stable. Melophilio simply nodded his head to tell them to begin the transmission. They turned back to their holographic screens and began the transmission with the gods. A beam of light illuminated the room, and immediately all the gods appeared. Their images were so life-like that if you did not notice the equipment at the back of the room, you would think they were there in the flesh. Melophilio spoke first to begin the meeting.

“Thank you all for coming here. It looks like everything is set and ready to go. Commander Caijoonyung we do apologize for bringing you here and not giving you any information regarding the summons. However, please understand that since this meeting is a special one, we do need to keep it concealed as much as possible. No one needs to know what is being discussed during this meeting as it might affect our niece Persephane. That is also why we decided to hold the meeting this late in the evening to avoid any suspicions,” Melophilio said to Caijoonyung.

Once Melophilio was sure that the Commander understood the situation he started with introductions. After all the introductions were completed, they would tell him what tests they were going to run, and what will happen during the testing, and once all tests were completed they would discuss with all of them what results they received from all the tests.
#
“Let’s get introductions out of the way so we can officially start the meeting. We’ll make this as quick as possible. We can skip over Topificetus and myself since we sometimes work together. Over to our left, we have Mariplius and her partner Archipeltis, they rule over the water regions throughout Centuri. Then on our right, we have Ventus and his partner Jupcaeris. They rule over the entire sky region. We are all the demigods that rule over all Centuri,” Melophilio said.
“We know that you have met all of us in some capacity, but it doesn’t hurt to have a formal introduction since we are having a formal meeting,” Topificetus stated.
“Good evening your Majesties. Please allow me to formally introduce myself as well, my name is Commander Caijoonyung and I am in charge of all the land region troops,” he said.
#
After waiting patiently the gods began their introductions. While the gods were going through their introductions, he noticed that the top portion of their bodies was darkened out which made it impossible for him to see anything above their bust. Despite not being able to see their upper half, he could see their garments, the chairs that they were sitting on, and the room that they were in. Luciansys took the lead and made the introductions for the rest of the gods.

“Hello, Commander Caijoonyung. It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance. We apologize for our appearance; the thing is we gods cannot be present in front of a mortal for too long. Our mere presence is enough to have ill effects on the mortals' physical and mental status. Since we are present as holographic images, the time you can be in our presence without suffering is lengthened considerably. However, we are unsure how much time we are allotted since this is the only time a mortal has met a god. With that being said, we do need to hurry and do this as quickly as possible to avoid any adverse effects. I’ll go ahead and introduce myself. My name is Luciansys. On my right is my brother Claudeleous; on my left are my sisters, Juliabethal and Vivianetta. We are the gods that created all the life on Centuri, which also includes the demigods.”

Commander Caijoonyung was left in awe as he tried to process the fact that not only did he get to meet all of the demigods at the same time, but was also introduced to the gods. The ones who were responsible for everything; all life and creation on Centuri. He just could not believe it. This was indeed a very rare moment. It’s not every day that you get to meet your maker. A million things flooded his brain. He wanted to ask them so many questions but knew he could never speak so casually to a god. Plus he was not there for idle chit-chat. He was brought there for a reason. Whatever that reason may be, it has something to do with Persephane.
