Chapter 1 

The summer of 1443 A.D. 

Once Upon A Time, there were two named Kira and Amber. They were roaming the woods behind their village. The woods look a beautiful green color this time of year. After a half hour of walking they heard a disturbing noise behind them. They ignored the noise thinking they were just being paranoid. After about 15 minutes more of walking they came across a grizzly bear. The girls were scared half to death.  The pirncesses ran.

The bear cornered them against a cliff. The girls looked up at the towering bear. Another noise came from behind the bear. Two princes ran out of the brush wondering what all the noise was about. They looked up at the bear then at the girls. The princes run at the bear going to fight it. They looked simply majestic as their hair flew through the wind. While the princes fought, Amber looked at Kira and said,

 “The tall one’s mine!” Amber said quickly. Kira couldn’t care less because she already had her eyes set on the dark-haired, handsome, visibly younger prince. Amber walked up to the older prince who had shaggy dark brown hair, blue eyes, and tan skin.  When Amber walked up she quickly asked what he was doing that afternoon. Kira waved and walked over to the younger prince. When she got there, the younger prince looked into her dazzling green eyes and gave her a swift kiss on the cheek. Kira, clearly surprised, backed away. 

“Sorry,” Kira said to the young prince. Kira looked over at Amber who was clearly hitting it off with the older prince. After a month Amber started dating Liam (The older prince). Kira and Jackson (the younger prince) decided that they wanted to stay friends so they could get to know eachother but, it was obcious that they both had feelings for eachother. When Kira and Jackson looked at eachother everyone say them blush. 

A few days after Amber and Liam started dating, Amber got tired of waiting for Kira and Jackson to get together. “Kira?” Amber asked “Why don’t you and Jackson start dating? Its so obvious you like him and he likes you so whats the problem?” 

Kira rolled her eyes clearly irritated at this inmature question. “We’re taking it slow…plus he puts mustard on his ice cream!!!” 

“Barbaric!... Why did you say that?”

“I don’t know,” Kira said shrugging. Just then, Liam and Jackson walked in. Liam walked straight over to Amber and kissed her on the cheek.

“Hey Amber would you like to go to Archery with me?” Liam asked curiously

“Sure,” Amber said as Liam held out his hand. Amber took it and walked out with Liam. As they left Jackson turned to Kira.

“Would you like to go out with me, like on a date, and be my girlfriend?” Liam blurted out.

 Kira hesitated. “I-I don’t know, I…” Kira stuttered. “It’s just that I’ve, you know, I’ve never really had a boyfriend before and I uh, you're just the first prince I’ve ever met and-” Kira talked as fast as her lips could move, but they were stopped as Jackson put his fingers to them.

“I get it.” Jackson said disapointed as he started to walk away. 

“Wait!” Kira called. Jackson looked back and smiled gently. “It’s…we…I…I’ll be your girlfriend.” Kira looked down blushing, yet smiling.

Amber was about to release an arrow when Liam went behind her to help her form a little bit. They were so close together that Amber felt his warm breath on the back of her neck.
