After a while, Amber gave up chasing Liam and went to sit on a couch. The couch was red and soft with a glass table infront of it. When Kira saw Amber give up she decided to chase after Liam trying to explain.
When she finally found Liam. Liam was in a corner watching Amber.
“Amber didn’t mean to lie to you, especially not for this long. Amber has just been waiting for someone who would understand her so she kept going because you saw her for her and not the crown. Please just give her another chance,” Kira said as she followed his gaze.
“I just don’t know who she is, it just hurts to know that someone I thought I trusted lied to me,”
“I get it but she truly didn’t mean for this to all happen and it was my idea but, if you want to be with her you need to go talk to her,” Kira said as she walked off. Liam stood there for a few more minutes not knowing how to comfort a girl since he only had a brother growing up. That's when he noticed that Amber didn’t have any emotion on her face. She isn’t blinking, no normal smile, just a plain face. Amber got up from the couch and was about to go home when Liam yelled.
“WAIT,”
“Why?” Amber said, with no emotion in her clear voice. Liam hesitated.
“You know what, Never mind. Go home if that's what you really want.”
“I have no reason to stay, it's not like you care anymore. Even if you said you didn’t know me and if that's how you feel, why should I care?”
“I told you that you should leave if you wanted to!”
“Bye Liam,” Amber said and climbed into her white and gold chariot and headed home.
Kira walked up behind the prince and said. “Well…that's unfortunate.” then went back to Jackson. Liam tried to stop thinking of Amber but he just couldn’t. He was standing in a corner watching Kira and Jackson have loads of fun and it made him super jealous. His mind kept wandering to Amber so he wrote a note on a napkin and handed it to Kira.
At the end of the night, Kira went home and put the note on Amber’s white vanity. Amber walked out of the closet in her blue pajamas and saw the note. She quickly read the note but didn't know what to think. The next day, she still showed up with no emotion which scared Liam but, after a few awkward moments, he spoke.
“I love archery at night, but I love you more.” Amber was flattered but still was pissed off that he would dare to hurt her like that. “‘You don’t know me’ though. That’s what you said. So how can you love me? How can you love somebody you don’t know?” Amber was so hurt he only felt rage surge through her body. She clenched her fists.
“When Kira explained to me, I realized I overreacted and I now know that the girl I love deserves better.” He gave an awkward smile.
“It just hurts to know what you think.” Liam pulled her in and hugged Amber.
“You know, half the time I don’t even think… I just sit and stare…” Liam explained reassuringly.
“At what?”
