Lucian makes fun of Titian's love language, but he's one to talk when his is essentially math. You know he loves you when he's telling you little math thought experiments and tries to teach you like abstract algebra or something. He is literally trying to teach a dog (Vigil) basic arithmetic in the hopes that one day he can graduate to calculus.
