[Serelay's Account]That lass Holly can really speak, her mouth never tired. Still, it was better than her interrupting my mission...
"Finally, that is how I passed the Entrance trials and earned the favour and trust of His Highest, Antrell. It was crazy but I bet yours is a real nail-biter too! Can I 'ear it?" She was looking at me like a dog with meat, I had to escape.
"I oughtta step out a tick, check the surroundings." She was really disappointed, it was all over her face but colour me impressed. Shortly after that, she recollected herself and looked stern and ready for battle. That badge wasn't for nothing I guess
The comfort and safety of the fire's light and Holly's waffling faded, and things were looking suspicious. There were two pairs of tracks, maybe one was Elash but that doesn't solve anything. I had not heard from that prudent wimp in a while. That's not good, eye, very bad news. At that point, I was sprinting whilst following the tracks. Faster and faster, I had to see. I was close, I was getting somewhere. Some dark rock was ahead. I hit it. Boom, I also fell into a puddle
" What kinda nonsense-" I stopped, that definitely was not a rock. I knew the smell of blood well. Inspecting the unknown body, it spoke back to me. "Serelay, get to Asher...immediately" It was Elash. What a fool! He strained and struggld to move but failed, the thin arrow visiting his chest was too deep in. "It was Antrell, I tried to attack but it didn't work on them. Don't you remember the Three?" The Three, the pillars that governed the abilities Antrell would give his soldiers. Those being, "Only given by Antrell, only used for the kingdom of Antrell and cannot be used to harm anything of Antrell's." He sent scum to do his dirty work, does that mean even..? No need thinking of that young one. Suddenly, a breeeze with the whistle of an arrow. Funny timing, indeed. Something to bash sounded just about right.
Looking around, I saw the origin. In awesome fashion, I charged him. Invoking a true sense of fear in 'em. Arrows flying, but so was I. My might from Antrell helped give me an edge. Finally, I was face to face with the goon and swinging my sword never felt better. A perfect arc, worthy of a swordsman. The blade went straight for his neck, a clean sho- a knife plunged into my back. My arm swung back to hit him but another pair of arms latched on and kept holding on. I was swamped. I was getting weaker, like a bucket with a hole. A fist went straight for my helmet, it bent it in. The metal pierced my skin.
My eardrums were ringing but I heard a squeal from afar, as if from a wounded impala.
In the kingdom of Trellia, many enjoy chasing luxuries and lavish goods. Few have to fight for the kingdom and its psychotic king Antrell, even though they are helped by magical abilities he gives it wears away at one's soul. Elash and Serelay have a big job that'll take all they have but it might be easier than following Antrell's leadership.
