“But don’t worry I get through just fine,” As they walk back to the boys’ palace, Liam puts his arm around Amber to make sure she knows she’s loved even as the older one. “You're great, you know that right?” Liam blushed and said 

“Not as great as you. No one could top that.” 

“You already did,” Liam smiled. Amber leaned on his shoulder as they sat on a bench.

“I should probably go change before anyone else sees me. I have this huge reputation to hold up and no one gets me!” said Kira.

“It’s going to be alright I promise,”

At the bench where Liam and Amber sat, Amber froze when she saw Joseph…her ex. Her one and only…ex.

“Liam, don't get jealous okay?” He looked frightened.

“W-why?”

“My EX.” She said as Joseph walked up. Joseph looked surprised,

“Oh hey, what are you doing in this kingdom?” 

“Going for a walk,” Joseph looked at Liam,

“Sitting down? Snuggling a guy? Ooh! Amber Estrea’s got a boyfriend!” he said laughing, mocking Amber.

“Are you five years old or something? And yes he is my boyfriend. Who else? Why? Jealous?” 

Liam chimed in and said, 

“You dumber than you look!” Amber put a hand on Liam making sure he didn’t do anything stupid. Joseph surprisingly backed down. He knew that Liam was his prince and he didn’t want to get punished by the royal family. 

“You do know I’m royalty too right?” Amber asked with an attitude.

“Not here you’re not, you have no power over me in this place, only the Vasquez family does,” 

“You guys realize I’m here right?” Liam said awkwardly.

“But, you used to live in my kingdom until your father tried to steal from us,” Amber said dismissively. “Tell me, where is he now?” Joseph was saddened at the thought of his father.

“I don’t know. You Estereas did something to him!” His sadness quickly faded to rage.

“My parents did. I had nothing to do with it but he had it coming after he killed my uncle. Did you know he did that? That he killed someone?”

“I am NOT my father!”

“Then why did you and your mother run?” Amber said standing up also furious.

“We didn’t want to get caught up in my father’s mista-”

“Ahem!” Liam cleared his throat and said, “Hey, I’m here too!”

“Innocent people don’t run. My family knew you weren’t involved and all they told me is your father is alive and well. I don’t know where but he’s in prison. He killed a man though so he won’t be coming out anytime soon,” Amber said, her knuckles turning white from clenching them. Amber wasn’t done there. “My uncle was IN CHARGE of the Estopian ARMY! So get the HELL out of my sight and leave us alone.”
