It has been three months since I began training them intensively. I ensured that the Imperial Knights would learn unconventional martial arts unknown in the Empire. My family can now use their Mana freely, and they have grown stronger.
In the first timeline, they were powerless in Authority and unable to use Mana. This time is different. You might think my goal is only to purge the four Ducal houses or the families that conspired against the imperial family. But no, we are just at the beginning of the novel. They are not even the final boss. I also want to confirm if some of the information I've read is accurate.
I went to the training ground, sat down in the new customized throne that the Imperial Knights gave me. It is lavishly designed with black leather and silver. They ensured that the throne would look like a tree, and purple magic stones were sculpted as butterflies, representing the power of the imperial family.
"Well, the agenda of our meeting is to see the outcome of your training. I don't care if you keep dying from monster attacks as long as you learn something from your opponent. I used my Dominatus (Domination spell) on you, so you will keep reviving no matter what. But the pain you feel from getting bitten or being torn apart will remain."
The knights are looking at each other, seemingly worried.
"What are you worried about? Do you think you can protect the imperial family without any battle experience? It has been peaceful for a long time. You might be good at fighting humans, but what about monsters?"
Carlos, one of the Imperial Knights, suddenly spoke.
"But, Your Highness, aren't monsters just myths?"
"Myth or not, we need to check it anyway. We're going to the lost city."
I guess everyone is in total shock. I hear a lot of whispers. Why did they even become knights if they're afraid of these things? I wouldn't have chosen them if I had a choice. I just thought that real-life combat with monsters every day would make them stronger. I also need to go there to see if the demigods and the Philippine mythological creatures really exist in that place.
"Esteban, please send a message to House Coraje. I need to talk to Claudio Coraje."
Finally, I'll get to meet the person who got framed as a villain in the novel.
