An invisible pull dragged her out of the shadows and into a tiny room. Angelina squinted her eyes a little, looking around the darkened cramped space that was very dimly lit by the faint blue moon light through the window. She felt around the walls before her hand met with a doorknob, one she quickly twisted and pulled open. The girl stepped out of the dark room and into another, her vision black and blue as she looked around.
Her house... the one she left back in the Human Realm.
She was currently standing in the back sun room, the old laundry room to her right, the back door leading outside in front of her and to her left was the opened door leading further into the house... and that's where she went.
Angelina stepped through the doorway and into the living room, the old torn and battered lounge and arm-chairs faced towards the seven-year-old TV, the Wii console still set up in its usual position on the TV unit, the sick grey and black carpet dragged throughout the entire room... it was like she never left. She turned to her right and walked into the joint dining room and kitchen, the ugly black and white chessboard tiles lining the floor, the nice wooden dining table setted with six evenly placed chairs with the china-cabinet behind the head to the table, the worn wooden kitchen cabinets and bench and silvered sink, and as she stepped through, the floors still eerily creaked like they always had. Then she was in the hallway, bathroom to her left, front door to her right at the very end of the corridor and three neat bedrooms dotted down the hallway. Angelina stepped into the bedroom that stood closest to the bathroom, its door left purposely open, and as she stepped through, her old shared bedroom gleamed back at her. White walls, grey-black carpet, wooden closet still standing strong, pale pink curtains covering the window, her little sister's glow-in-the-dark sticky stars still stuck all over the ceiling and around the old battered ceiling fan and light, her sister's white framed and pink covered bed standing to the left and to the right... her own bed now gone.
Her parents removed and got rid of it so quickly.
Angelina heard a tiny sniff, dragging her attention back over to her sister's bed where said girl laid in deep sleep yet tears rolling down her face. "Diane...?" Angelina quietly spoke, her voice hollowed and echoed as she stepped over to her little sister's bed before freezing.
The raggedy old knitted blanket that she had grown up being the only blanket she had, her little sister now slept with, hugging it close to her torso.
"...Dia" Angelina was saddened by the sight as she kneeled down beside her sister's bed, gently wiping the girl's tears away with her thumb as she softly smiled, seeing the tears finally stop.
Slenderman's Mansion, Rorrim's Forest, Dellone, Under Realm

9:17pm
Angelina jolted, snapping out of her daze as a hand grabbed her shoulder. She flung around to see Slender looking down at her, arms folded, disappointed that the girl had spaced out whilst in the middle of 'training'. "Sorry" Angelina apologised as the tall entity sighed "Run it again" he told her, motioning her into the opposite direction before the girl groaned and forced herself into a sprint again.
Day twelve of being in the Under Realm and day seven of doing Slender's version of 'Hide n Seek' for hours on end. Whenever she thinks she's getting better at it, the more he proves her wrong. At this point, she's gotten so tired of 'losing' that she's almost completely given up on actually trying.
There just seems absolutely no point to it anymore.
From early morning to late at night. Coming back to the mansion covered in dirt, leaves and scratches from falling over so many times, yesterday she came back with twigs in her hair for christ sake.
One minute.
She had counted it in her head before darting behind a tree, holding her breath to silence herself, immediately feeling the entity's presence. 'Don't throw up, don't throw up' Angelina repeated in her head over and over again as she felt the dark presence grow stronger, and instead of keeping it together, she breathed in through her nose which allowed the forest's newly rotten smell to hit her lungs enough to make her vomit immediately. She buckled over, vomiting as she leaned up against the tree she was hiding behind for balance whilst hearing approaching footsteps "Angelina, are you okay?" Slender's voice asked in concern behind her as this time, she slowly breathed through her mouth "Sorry... tried to..." she couldn't answer properly, she was trying so hard to not let everything leave her stomach "Right, the smell must be putting you off" Slender guessed as the girl nodded her head a little.
Last night, Toby and Kate returned from patrol, reporting that someone had dumped ten recently deceased bodies on the other side of the forest. Apparently, someone decided to set up traps along the north side of Rorrim's Forest with human fleshed bait in attempts to catch someone else or... something. The rotting smell shouldn't have hit this side of the forest until another few days.
"Come on, let's get you back before you are sick again" Slender stated, placing a hand on Angelina's shoulder and started leading her back to the mansion.
If it wasn't for Slender, Angelina would've been lost in this forest so many times... losing the constant game of 'Hide n Seek' meant she would be found by someone and at least not alone or lost for longer than five minutes, which at the moment is her personal best at not being caught. Who would've guessed that being found by a tall disturbing and terrifying dangerous entity in the middle of a horrid forest of nightmares would actually bring relief to someone.
Soon, they approached the house and stepped through the back door and into the house.
"I'm assuming you do not want any dinner" "Hell no" the girl answered Slender in a sickly groan as he sighed "Alright, head into the living room, I'll get you some water" he stated as the girl tiredly made her way through the house and into the living room, collapsing onto the couch yet keeping herself leaned over.
If she was sick again, she didn't want to throw up on the couch of all things.
Slender stepped into the room with a glass of water and handed it to Angelina "Thanks" "Not a problem" he answered, watching the girl take tiny sips whilst Kate stepped into the room "You guys are back" she stated, casting Angelina a look of worry "You just came back from another patrol, correct?" Slender questioned as Kate turned back to him "Uh yes, sir, but um... something has happened and um... I think it's better if I show you" she said. "Right, Angelina, you will be alright here for a moment?" Slender asked the hypnotic who slowly nodded her head "Yeah" she answered as the entity nodded his head, then followed Kate out of the room.
It didn't take long for Angelina to hear faint talking and footsteps above her, not a second longer before she could clearly hear the entity call everyone but Sally out of their rooms and to the other end of the hallway. She couldn't hear what they were talking about but she could tell by the tone in Slender's voice that he was clearly pissed off about something, like a parent about to interrogate each of their children before pointing the blame and punishment at someone.
After waiting a few minutes, the hypnotic got up off the couch and walked out of the living room, heading upstairs and down the corridor towards her temporary room yet when she stepped into the bedroom, she was met with the sight of every house member being in there "Tell me who did it" Slender's stern voice bellowed before they all saw her and froze in place... and then her eyes landed on it.
The bed covers pulled all the way off the bed and a large red pentagram spray-painted onto the white bedsheets.
Sadness was the first emotion to come through before pained familiarity and usage of this sort of treatment flooded back to her. "Don't worry- we'll change the sheets right now" Kate told the hypnotic, the first one to speak and break the silence "The person who done it be rightfully punished" Slender firmly stated, mostly looking at the guys who then started piping up "I didn't fucking do it" Jeff spat first as Toby turned his head over to the hypnotic "I swear to-to god, i-it wasn't me!" he told her. They all kept talking yet she couldn't hear them. An ear-piercing ringing rung through her ears and head, nausea hitting her, her chest grew heavy and vision slowly blurred.
Eyeless Jack glanced over at Angelina, seeing her eyes glowing their deep ocean blue before they closed and she fell backwards. He immediately ran over and caught her just in time yet the girl was completely out cold, almost dead to the world around her "Hey- wake up" Eyeless Jack told her, patting the side of her face a couple times but nothing "Shit shit shit" he muttered whilst Slender sent Kate and Hoodie to go get someone.
It was like an invisible force had dragged her backwards and yet was now pulling her back forward.
Angelina felt herself be pulled up from the hospital-vinyl flooring she now sat on, her eyes opening and meeting the same blue-black vision from last night's dream.
She was in a hospital for sure... yet completely unsure why.
Angelina slowly pulled herself up onto her feet and forced herself to step through the empty children's ward. She immediately stiffened as two Grey Army soldiers stepped into the same corridor as her yet... nothing. There was absolutely no reaction to the sight of her. She had to push herself flat against the wall as they walked pass her, turning into the next corridor and out of the ward "They can't see me?" Angelina quietly questioned, her voice faint and deafened.
She slowly started down the corridor again, passing a good couple of rooms before stopping at one as her soulstone brightly glowed red, as if signalling that she needed to stop here and so she got onto her tippy-toes and peaked into the room. Her eyes widened at the sight of Corey, chained to the wall adjacent to the door. One second she was solid and gripping the door frame, the next, she had suddenly become transparent and fallen cleanly through the door like water passing through a sew grate, and then she was solid again. "Fuck" Angelina hissed from shock as she quickly steadied herself as she now stood in the cell, Corey's head immediately lifting up and his eyes widened at the sight of her "...Angelina- what are you doing here?" he questioned as the girl stared back at him for half a second before bolting over to him and hugging him tightly. "You're okay!" she exclaimed, tears threatening her eyes as she hugged her friend, only to feel him tightly wrap his arms around her and bury his face deep into her shoulder "I told you to run" "I did, I'm safe in a house with-.... I don't know how I'm here" she admitted, pulling herself out of Corey's arms "How did-" "Did anyone see you?" he cut Angelina off with a question, the girl shook her head "It was like I didn't exist" she answered. Angelina caressed her friend's face, unable to control the smile plaguing her lips "God- I found you" she said as Corey softly smiled back at her "Yeah... you did".
But after another second of looking at her, Corey's face became sad and so full of worry as he held her hands "You're... you're not dead, are you?" he asked as Angelina's brows frowned "No- what makes you think that?" "You're glowing like a ghost" Corey immediately answered her and that's when she really looked at herself.
Her skin was so pale yet glowed like a full moon and it was slightly translucent along with the rest of her.
"I'm... I'm not really here, am I?" Angelina questioned herself, her heart shattering a little at the news whilst Corey seemed relieved "Thank god, you're not" his words drew her eyes back to him "Corey-" "The old asshole made his son the new Grey Leader, Angie" he told her, the girl's eyes widening "W-what?" her voice shook "He's here and... I don't know if he'll really listen to me, but I think I can convince him to leave you alone and let me and Sean go". Angelina's eyes widened even more as she looked at him "Why would the Grey Leader's son listen to you?" "Because he think's we're brothers by curse" he told her.
"Okay, so you won't believe this- the person who cursed the Grey Leader's son, also cursed another kid" Angel excitedly told him as he froze "And the person who cursed them was the Light Spirit- can you believe it?" she questioned in slight excitement...
Her brows frowned even more "...you're the other kid?" she questioned as Corey slowly and grimly nodded his head "Wait, you said he'd let you and Sean go- what about Vixen?" Angelina asked, concern and panic rising in her voice as Corey hesitantly spoke "Angelina, Vixen is-" midsentence, Angelina was pulled backwards, desperately reaching out for her friend as blackness covered her.
Angelina's eyes snapped open, swallowing air as her head swayed "She's awake" Masky's voice stated as the girl laid in someone's arms "Jeff- so see what's taking Hoodie and Kate so long" "Why do I have to-" "Now, Jeff" Slender's voice snapped at Jeff.
She couldn't really see- her vision was blurred, all she could see were coloured blobs moving about.
The girl looked up a bit, seeing a grey-skinned blob holding her then watching it gently caress her face "Hey, you're alright" the person told gently told her as she squinted her eyes a little "Keep your eyes open, okay?" they told her yet she found it hard to listen. She felt like she was gonna vomit but not at the same time, her head pounded and body numb, and their hand, the one caressing her face- how could a killer's hands be so soft and gentle and warm and... was that the lemon handwash Slender has in all the bathrooms? and there was a slight coppery metallic smell it was masking. Blood. That's it, blood... what's with killers and blood?
"Hey- no, stay awake" the person told her as a white and black blob came into view "Her soul's never reconnected with her body before, keep her awake for as long as you can, alright?" Slender's voice told the other person before turning to a blob by the door "Toby, get me a bucket in case she throws up" "Yes, sir" Toby answered, scattering out of the room as the girl stayed in the person's arms.
