        I made a friend!! His name is Jay Green. We met in the library today, while I was checking out a biography for English. He was sitting in a chair reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I thought it was kinda weird I had never talked to him because I see him ALL the time. Always with a laptop or book shoved in his face. But I guess he just caught my eye because he also reads Harry Potter. I checked out a few books and sat in the chair in front of him. He asked me why I was sitting there. I told him I thought he was cool because we both read Harry Potter.  He asked me my name. "Autumn Jackson," I had told him, "yours?"  

        "Jay Green. Nice books, Percy Jackson is the best." 

        I looked down at my books and smiled. Percy Jackson and the Battle of The Labyrinth. 

        "This is my 5th time re-reading the series. It's one of my favorites." I had told him.

        The first bell rang. "I'll see you in biology," he smiled as he walked away.

        OH MY LORD!!!! This is the first time I have talked to him and we're already fangirling (and boying) over fantasy novels. I have now labeled him my future hubby.  That's all for today, my mother wants me to do the dishes. KILL ME.

        Tomorrow is Halloween. My 2 best friends, Caelyn and Sophia, and I are going as jugeletts. Our favorite band is ICP. That stands for insane clown posse. anyway, So today Jay told me that he heard a rumor about magic being real and that the war back in 1900 wasn't just an over-fantasized event and it all happened. So now I'm questioning whether or not my life is a lie. 

        I found out that Jay and I both got accepted into STOCO! So now I get to see him every Wednesday. It started earlier this week, that's when I found out. We were immediately drawn to each other and we started talking about how great it would be if the school started a book club. 

        "I KNOW!! And we could all vote on a book each month out of a pre-selected genre category! It would be great," he had said, matter a factly.

        I agreed with him and then Mr. Ashton started handing out the icebreaker sheets. He's also the history teacher so everybody already hates him. School's also been in session for like a month. I thought I'd seen the last of those stupid things for the year. 

        But I have to go now so I can have a movie night with my Ashlyn and my parents.
