"Well that depends. What do you like?" 

"What does that have to do with-" Before i could finish, i was interuppted by him.

"L-let's just go i'll show you what i mean" Lyster then grabbed my hand and dragged me over to a buffet looking table. Only problem was that there was no buffet, only plates.

"Where's the food?"

"Grab a plate and think of what you want to eat."

Seemed easy enough. I grabbed a plate and did just that, thoughts of Spaghetti filling my head and the plate.

"Woah?"

"Cool right?"

"Sooooooo... magic plates?"

"Magic plates! OH! And cups!!"

"Great. im hungry." I grabbed a cup and my plate and went to sit down somewhere.. til i remembered i was unclaimed and couldnt sit with whoever my siblings were. Chiron had explained i was supposed to sit with my cabin but since i didnt have one yet i didnt know where to go.

"You're confused on where to sit right?" He asked, seeming to have read my thoughts. I wondered if he could do that

"Uh yea i am."

"Usually we would have you sit with the Hermes kids but Chiron told me you're a special case. You can come sit with me and my siblings until you get claimed."

"Cool. And who is your parent?"

"Apollo. Yknow it'd be cool if we were siblings!"

He sounded kind of sad when he said that, like he didnt want to actually be my sibling. As if he wanted to just be my friend without the hassle of a parental bond. Or maybe he just liked me. I couldnt tell which it was. 

"Yea that'd be pretty cool"

"Cmon follow me!" He grabbed a cup and a plate, then went to go sit with his siblings. And of course, i followed him

"So Apollos your dad right? Does that mean you're super good at archery or know about medicine?" I asked, hoping that wasnt a stupid question

"Uh yea actually! I know a lot about medicine and can even play several instruments!"

Lysters face glowed as he said that, as if he was happy to finally tell someone other than his siblings about it.

"Thats super cool!" I admitted because it was super cool

We sat down next to a group of other kids all huddled together near a flag with a sun on it, no doubt the sign of Apollo. 

By that point i was starving and could'nt wait to eat. But what to eat? I thought of an old recipe my grandmother told me about when i was small. It was for some alfredo chicken pasta with garlic bread on the side. Sure enough, it showed on my plate and what seemed to be pink lemonade was in my cup. I looked over at Lyster to see what he was eating and it looked like some tacos. I ate in silence, which was a nice change of pace. A few minutes later, the sound of a horn echoed throughout the building and everyone who was sitting down stood up. Chiron walked in and announced something about a game of capture the flag? 

"ATTENTION YOUNG DEMI-GODS! AFTER DINNER, PLEASE GO GET READY FOR TONIGHTS GAME OF CAPTURE THE FLAG!" He yelled loudly, before sitting down at a table with a short man wearing a bright purple hawaiian shirt, khaki shorts, and sandals with white long socks.  He had long messy hair and a beard that covered most of his face. 

"Who is that?" I asked Lyster

"Mr. D. He used to be the camp director. Zeus punished him and sent him here"

"Dionysus. Thats him right?" I guessed

"Yep."

"Why is he here? should'nt he be in Olympus?" I asked. I admit, I thought it was a little odd a major greek god decided to hang around some kids at a camp but i thought it might just be because he cares for his own kids. 

"Well I dont really know he just shows up sometimes." he answered

"Thats a little odd"

And with that, a horn was going off and I knew dinner was over
