Dr. Milton found himself wandering aimlessly through the labyrinthine halls of the Backrooms, his mind reeling from the horrific sight he had just witnessed with SCP-3943-1. He knew that he had to find a way out before The Hunger claimed its next victim, but every turn seemed to lead him deeper into this nightmarish world.
As he rounded another corner, Dr. Milton's heart skipped a beat at the sight of yet another trapped soul—a woman with her arms and legs contorted in unnatural angles against the wall, her screams muffled by a thick layer of dried blood caking her lips and chin. Her eyes were wide with terror as she stared into nothingness, pleading for help that would never come.
"No!" Dr. Milton cried out as he ran to the woman's side, his hands trembling with fear and desperation as he tried to free her from the invisible force holding her captive. "Please... please let me help you."
But no matter how hard he pulled or how much strength he summoned, Dr. Milton could not break the unseen bond that held the woman in place. He watched helplessly as The Hunger's tendrils crept closer to her, their slimy flesh oozing from between the cracks in the wall and wrapping around her limbs like a serpent coiling around its prey.
"No!" Dr. Milton screamed as he tore his gaze away from the woman's suffering, his own body shaking with rage and despair. "I won't let you take anyone else!"
He clenched his fists and focused all of his energy on a single point in front of him—the only way out he could see from this hellish maze. With a mighty roar, Dr. Milton charged forward, determined to fight his way through the Backrooms and put an end to The Hunger once and for all.
As he ran, Dr. Milton's thoughts turned to the SCP Foundation—his colleagues who would be desperately searching for him by now. He knew that they would never believe his story about the Backrooms or SCP-3943, but he had to find a way to warn them of the impending danger before it was too late.
"SCP-173," Dr. Milton muttered under his breath as he raced through the endless corridors, "I need your help."
Suddenly, a familiar figure appeared ahead of him—a statue-like entity with razor-sharp claws and an insatiable hunger for human flesh. It was SCP-173, one of the Foundation's most notorious anomalies, known to move only when unobserved.
"SCP-173," Dr. Milton called out as he approached the creature with cautious optimism, "I need your help to stop The Hunger from crossing over into our world."
The statue-like figure remained motionless as Dr. Milton continued his plea, its blank eyes staring unblinkingly at him from behind its mask of stone. But just as he was about to give up hope, SCP-173's arm twitched ever so slightly—the first sign that it had heard and understood his desperate plea for help.
"Thank you," Dr. Milton whispered as he reached out to touch the creature's cold, hard surface. "Together, we can stop The Hunger from claiming any more victims."
Dr. Milton, in the Backrooms after a distressing encounter, fails to save a woman from The Hunger. Seeking to prevent more victims, he enlists SCP-173's help, which signals its readiness to assist in the fight.
