The waiter came back with our drinks, and we made our orders. I had already decided what to order and put my menu down. You know it wasn’t always easy for me and my family but when I decided that enough was enough and talked to them they started to change and give me more of their attention and I feel you should talk to your parents Theresa '' He said as he grabbed my hand to comfort me. Yeah, thank you for the advice. I will talk to them," I said as I squeezed his hand before letting go. "Well, do you know what you're getting?" I asked, picking up my menu. He also picked up his menu and replied, "Yep, you!" I smiled and said, "Same," as I put down my menu and he did the same. At that very moment, the waitress was walking in our direction, so we flagged her down to let her know that we were ready to order.“ "As soon as she arrived, she asked, 'Are you guys ready to order?' 'Yes, we are,' we replied. 'I will go first. I would like to have French Toast Bites with Fresh Berries and House Whipped Cream, Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, City Burger, and Sweet Potato Fries. Please put whipped cream and some chocolate on my pancakes, and that will be all,' I said. I looked at Chad, and he looked at me in shock. I laughed.``

"May I take your order, sir?" the waitress asked Chad. "Um, yeah, I'll have the City Burger, Popcorn Shrimp, Bacon & Egg Flatbread, Crab Cake Sandwich, and Sweet Potato Fries. That's all," Chad said. "Okay, I'll bring your order," the waitress replied as she put away her notebook and left. As soon as she left, Chad asked, "Why were you so shocked? Have you never seen a girl eat this much food before?" "No, I haven't. My last girlfriend would only eat salads, and I always wondered how she could survive on that alone."

"He laughed, but you're a different story. I knew I liked you for a reason - we have something in common," he said as he laughed. I laughed right along with him. 30 minutes later, the waitress brought all our food and it smelled so good that I couldn't wait to eat it. We thanked the waitress and started eating, while we talked and got to know each other more. When we finished our food, he asked if we had space for dessert. "I thought you would never ask he laughed. As the waitress came to collect our plates, we asked for dessert. She took out her pen and notebook and we ordered a Double Fudge Brownie and the Coconut Pound Cake. I said to the waitress, "I will have the same thing also, Chad included," as she wrote down our order. The waitress closed her notebook and said, "I will be back with your order," before leaving us to continue talking. After 20 minutes, our dessert arrived, and we both ate them without leaving any crumbs. We laughed about how we both finished our dessert. When we finished, we asked for the check, and I took my wallet out to pay. However, Chad stopped me and said, "I will pay for it." "Oh, how sweet of you, Chad. Thank you!" I replied, and he smiled and said, "No problem."

As he put his card down and the waitress took the check, I asked, "How much is it, anyway?" He said, "It is $149.00." We walked to the nearest lake, holding hands, laughing, and talking. When I looked at my watch, it was already 3:45 pm, and we were standing on a bridge over the lake. Chad touched my face, put my hair behind my ear, and said, "I really enjoyed my time with you." I looked into his deep blue eyes and said, "I also enjoyed my time with you." He pulled my face, and we kissed. I felt like I was the luckiest girl in the world, kissing Chad Jordan, the captain of the football team and the most famous handsome boy at our school. "Oh my god," he said, "that was the best kiss I ever had." I blushed and said, "You want to know something, Chad? You are my first kiss." "Oh, how lucky I am," he said as he took me into another deep, passionate kiss.

After a few minutes, I pulled away and said, "I have to go home now." "Oh okay," he said, "I will wait until your ride comes to pick you up." "Thank you, Chad. Um, I was wondering if after the party we can go out again?" I asked. "Of course, we can. Considering that we kissed, it is safe to say you are my girlfriend, right?" he replied excitedly. "Wow, really?" I said, laughing. "Yes, really!" he said as he pulled me in for another kiss. "Wait, let me text Mr. James - wait," I said, but Chad stopped me from pulling out my phone. "I drove here. Can I drive you home?" he asked. "Yes, of course. Let me tell Mr. James that and to also ask him to pick up the girls to drive to my house. Let's text the girls, okay?"Sure, I can help with that. Here's the corrected version of the text:

"Okay!" Two minutes later, he said, "Okay, I am done." We walked to his car, and as soon as we got in, he kissed me again. I don't know how long we kissed, but it was a long time. It wasn't until I pulled away and looked out the window that I realized it got dark. "Oh my God! I have to get home now," I said, checking the time on my watch. He laughed and said, "Yes, ma'am." He buckled his seatbelt, and I followed suit. We drove away, and an hour and thirty minutes later, we arrived in front of my house. "Well, this was fun. Yeah, I enjoyed it today. I hope to see you tomorrow, babe." When I heard that, my heart melted. I had no choice but to kiss him. But before we lost ourselves in the kiss again, I pulled away and went inside as he drove away.

Inside my house, I found my friends in the living room watching "Never Have I Ever." I put my bag down and said, "Hey, girls!" They all turned around and looked at me as I took off my boots. "Hey, girl, how was your date?" they all said as I sat next to them. "Yeah, we need all the details," Gabrielle said, who was lying on the sofa. Ava paused the TV, and everyone had their eyes on me. "Well, we ate lunch, and we walked by the lake, and then we kissed. And I mean, a lot," I said. The girls screamed with excitement. "OMG!" I said, covering my ears and laughing. The girls laughed too. "Well," I said, changing the subject. "What were you girls up to for the past hour?" "Well," Ava continued, "while you were not here, that boy from the mall today texted Clara, and I guess you're not the only one who had a hot date." They all laughed. I looked at Clara, who was sitting on my left on the sofa, and I nudged her, saying, "You go, girl!" I turned to the others and asked, "What season and episode are you guys on?" "We just started on the first season," Ava said as she grabbed the remote. "Great, let's watch and grab some popcorn, punch bowl cake, cookies, and ice cream." I got up and went to the kitchen, where Ms. James was cleaning after dinner. I asked her if it was possible to get them for us, and she said yes. I said, "Thank you," and went upstairs to change into more comfortable clothes. I went back downstairs, and everything was ready for us to watch the new TV show "Never Have I Ever." With that, we cuddled together and watched the show.
