One of my cats is on an allergy-specific diet right now to see if he has an allergy to certain foods, and he's not very fond of the food so he keeps trying to get ahold of human food which he ABSOLUTELY cannot eat because if he eats ANYTHING other than the allergy friendly food the evaluation period will be restarted completely. Anyway, the other cat has a problem where he will eat anything you put in front of him super fast and then go scream within a couple hours because he ate all his food at once. He's already eating lightweight food and getting his servings spread out to 3 meals a day to minimize this behavior, but I figured maybe that food is just too tasty and he will be as unimpressed by the allergy friendly food as the other cat is so he could eat it too and maybe actually eat smaller portions spread out across the day like a normal goddamn cat for once, so I tried serving it to him and nope. He took a bit slower to it initially, but then he just chomped all of it down in one sitting anyway. Then again, this is a cat that will actively go out of his way to eat his own hair if he sees it flying when you pet him, so I bet you could probably serve him dirt and he'd fucking eat that too. I have to keep their food in a surefeed with a microchip sensor or the other cat would never get to eat...
