The townspeople had enough time to gather food and drinks for the celebration while Asukem rested in bed.
Two weeks had passed before Asukem finally woke up. As he opened his eyes, he noticed that his body was wrapped in bandages. He tried to sit up, but the pain that shot up and down his body was unbearable, forcing him to fall back into bed with a groan. Asukem drifted back to sleep, allowing his demonic regeneration to heal his wounds. As he slept, he could feel the scars he earned from battle slowly beginning to heal, but the injury to his eye had left a scratch mark that remained.
As Asukem rested, a small minion of Evealeana flew off into the distance while the villagers prepared for a celebration. Despite facing mountains and storms, the minion rested when it got tired. After a day of travel, the minion finally reached a tower where Evealeana was residing. It flew in through the window, encountering three different types of Sin Kin who served Evealeana's cause.
These Sin Kin were commanders of Evealeana's troops and served her. One of them, Dracon, looked like a lizardman and almost seemed like a dragon. The other two Sin Kin had the body of a human with the head of a snake and snake scales all over their body. They were known as Hisicla. The third Sin Kin was made of rock with lava cracks that looked like veins and had eyes that burned with an orange color. This Sin Kin was named Volmanca.
Dracon glares at the minion and demands to know what he has brought. The little minion, shaking in fear, hands him a scroll. It's a parchment on which he has written down everything that happened in New Kimbra. Dracon snatches the scroll from the little minion with such force that he almost lifts him from the floor. He then turns around to read what the minion has written down.
The little minion hesitates but gulps before asking, "What about payment?" his voice was shaking, but it was raspy and high-pitched.
Dracon jerks his head back toward the little minion, giving a death glare towards the little minion. He stated in rage and anger, "You expect payment for this crap, you rat!"
The little minion answered the giant lizard with fear, "Yes, we had a deal."
Dracon glares at the small minion in front of him. He strides towards a nearby table, snatches a bag, and hurls it at the minion. "Take it and leave my sight, you cheating rat!" he bellows in anger.
The bag hits a barrier that the little minion summoned, causing it to fall to the ground. The little minion inspects the bag, noticing it is filled with coins. As soon as he sees the coins, he seizes the bag, jumps out of the window, and flies away, never to be seen by the three again.
As the little minion fled to safety, the commanders discussed the situation in New Kimbra. Hisicla hissed and asked Dracon, "What's happening in Kimbra?"
Dracon answers angrily, "Asukem has chosen his side; he is a traitor to the queen."
Volmanca exclaims loudly and rumblingly, "Did that recruit fail? How pathetic!"
Hisicla hisses, "Yes, but what about Asukem?"
Dracon says, "Traitors should be dealt with personally!"
Volmanca suggests, "Having the Wolverfang deal with him, they will tear him apart."
Hisicla said with a hiss, "Yes, they can do it. He wouldn't know what hit him."
The three Sin Kins' laughter echoed from the tower as they planned to assassinate Asukem.
Asukem suddenly woke up feeling uneasy but soon realized that he was in the inn of his hometown, New Kimbra. He quickly removed his bandages and got up in frustration. He then gathered his belongings and headed outside.
Once outside, Franklin and the other townspeople waited for him to wake up. As they saw him, they cheered and started to celebrate. The celebration had fine wine, deer, rabbit, boar meat, vegetables, and fruits. There was dancing, laughing, and some singing. The townspeople partied all day.
At midnight, everyone started to veer down; some were tired and sluggish, but the rest were sleeping. Still, some were partying, but not as hard. Asukem sat in a dark corner the whole time and watched his town act stupid. Franklin, drunk off his ass, came and sat by Asukem and asked in a slur in his voice, "Asukem, now that you got rid of that monster and revenged your little sister, what now?"
Knowing he was drunk, Asukem answered him, "I am going to track down that noble bitch who turned me into this."
Franklin laughs and nudges Asukem, saying, "Don't chase her for..." He interrupts himself with a hiccup.
Asukem rolls his eyes, slightly upset, and says, "Franklin, you're drunk. I would never do that. I have respect for myself."
Franklin falls to the ground, hiccuping. He mumbles, "Good, didn't wanna hunt for you and kick your ass."
Asukem smirked with cockiness as he packed up for a journey. He attempted to sneak out of town but was caught by Franklin.
The drunken Franklin looked disappointed and asked, "Are you leaving without saying goodbye?"
Asukem was embarrassed and attempted to explain himself. "I'm sorry, Franklin, I assumed you were asleep."
Franklin said, "I thought I was, too. But something told me to tell you. I saw a noble heading towards Wolverfang forest."
"Asukem's eyes widened as he responded, "I'm glad you woke up, then."
Franklin waved goodbye and returned to town, cautioning him to be careful.
Asukem walked away, exuding negativity and a severe expression. He reassured Franklin that he would handle the situation, saying, "I'll teach that bitch a lesson."
Asukem, an 18-year-old orphan from Rikros, is transformed into a sinkin by an evil demon who wields power to torment souls with her lust. Ah'keim, a powerful being with a mysterious ulterior motive, mentors him as he struggles to regain his humanity and undo the damage caused by the female demon. With the help of new friends who try to help him escape his fate as a sinkin, Asukem sets out to fight the void and gain control over his powers, all while seeking redemption for his past sins.
