Oliver stopped in front of a shooting stand with targets moving from side to side, hoping that he might be able to win the skeleton cat plushie. He didn’t have much cash on him, just enough for a few games.
He paid the man who took care of the stand and picked up a pistol. The first few shots hit their targets, but the last three missed, even though he was sure at least one of them had hit. He put the pistol down, annoyed as he felt it cheated.

“What bullshit is this? That last one hit!” Oliver complained but the man didn’t care, saying it didn’t, since it shows that only four of the seven hit got in. Oliver had to win five to get one of the smaller plushies, five for the medium and two times seven hits to get the huge plushie. All Oliver had to hit was five and he was one off. Oliver stuck his hand into his pockets, before he would end up doing something he would regret, frowning. Jake dragged Oliver with him, complaining about his attitude while Casper seemed try and hide a smile, glancing at them.

They went to a few other game stands. Jake tried a candy wheel and won a huge package of chocolate, he had to carry around and Casper decided to try the duck pond where he won two keyrings, where he could choose from
several different types, but Oliver didn't see what he picked as he moved on to a different stand, selling halloween decorations. Halloween were the one holiday Oliver liked, but not only because of the spooky things, but because he could carve pumpkins and he enjoyed watching animals dressed up.

They went by the live band and Jake and Casper both orderes beers, but Oliver had to order a soda, since they wouldn't buy him beer and the vendor didn't want to sell him beer. They stood at a tall bar table, watching the live band.

"You think Claire are going to be there?" Jake asked Casper, nurturing his cup of beer.

He shugged and took a sip of his beer. "I don't know, she did say she might get off work early and then join us," he smiled. "Why, you got plans with her?" he asked. Oliver looked slightly confused as he remembered back to the other girl Jake had gone to the movie with.

"Wait, weren't you together with that girl? The one with brown hair?" Oliver mentioned, trying to recall waving his hand a little before snapping his fingers, "Tessa! right?" he asked.

Jake looked surprised at Oliver. "Ah yeah, well, we broke up," he said. Oliver blinked a bit surprised but nodded.

Jake returned his focus on Casper, "so, what about you? Have any plans on hooking up with someone?" he wiggled his eyebrows smirking. Casper smiled back but shook his head, before taking a sip of his beer.

"Maybe, depends if someone interested shows up," he answered.

Jake furrow his brows with a scoff. "Really? You don't have anyone you hope to get?" he asked. Casper shrugged his shoulder and shifted on his feet.

"I haven't met anyone yet," he replied which Jake didn't believe and tried to push Casper for more information but he wouldn't budge.

Finished with their beers, they headed back to the car. Oliver took out a cigarette, leaning up against the car near the driver’s side and lit it. Casper opened the door and sat down behind the wheel, to turn on the heater, as Jake went to throw out some trash.

The moment they were alone, Casper spoke up. “So, the guy earlier, was he another one of those…” he trailed off, but Oliver knew what Casper was going to ask and frowned.

“Why? You got a problem?” he asked coolly and glanced at Casper, who sat sideways in his seat, looking up at Oliver. He shrugged and shook his head.

“No, but I have a feeling Jake knows nothing about it,” he raised an eyebrow as he looked at Oliver for confirmation.

“And I’ll like to keep it that way” he warned and gave Casper a pointed look. He held his hands up as a defense.

“Don’t worry, I'm not going to say anything,” he said and looked towards Jake as he was on his way back, before Casper turned in his seat and closing the car door. Jake came over, looked at Oliver as he shook his head before getting in the car.

Oliver took one more drag, still having half of it left, before he grounded it underneath the sole of his shoes, about to throw it on the ground but stopped himself, when he saw Casper look at him in the side mirror with a raised eyebrow.

Oliver glared at him before putting the half cigarette back into his pack, getting into the car while avoiding looking at Casper, but at a glance he could almost see him smile.

They drove for twenty minutes before they reached the cabins in the woods, where the party was being held. The cabins were on the other side of the lake, yet so far away that it still took some time, with the lake being large They found a parking spot nearby and walked down a path, that led towards the cabins and the lake. The cabins were mostly used during summer break, were it got used as a summer camp, then by the boy scouts, some of the weekends, though they had their own building closer to town, and only used the cabins when they were sleeping out.

When they reached the cabins, there were already a lot of people hanging out by several different campfires, huddling together to keep warm. Jake greeted some of his friends, who handed them all something to drink as they all sat down. Oliver didn’t mind beer, it wasn’t his personal choice, and honestly he kind of wished it was something stronger so he could get drunk faster.

The moment Jake's focus were away from him, he quickly swallowed the pill and downed it with some beer. He glanced from Jake, making sure he didn't see anything then at Casper who was looking at him, but Oliver couldn't read his expression. He wanted to say something to him, as it made him uneasy that he couldn't read Casper expression, but he got interrupted.

“You brought your brother?” a girl asked, slightly surprised. She had red long wavy hair, she wore a white turtle neck, with a black down jacket, slightly open. She had a pair of tight blue jeans and cream colored winter boots. She was practically sitting on Jake’s lap with how close she was to him, and Jake was holding around her waist, holding her close as he grinned.

“I had to persuade him with booze,” he joked which prompted Oliver to roll his eyes and flip him off, causing the others to laugh.

“Well, he is quite a hottie,” a different girl said and scooted closer to Oliver. He raised an eyebrow at her a bit confused. She was hot, that he could admit, with long blond hair and big perky breasts, possibly because of a padded bra. She wore a black semi see-through long-sleeved shirt, with a short leather skirt and fishnet pantyhose, and black combat boots. Had he been into girls, she could totally be his type.

Oliver’s first thought tough, was that she must be cold, but she seemed drunk enough to not even notice. The second though he had was he actually feel pity towards her, knowing she had no chance with him, and she would be wasting her energy.

She placed a hand on Olivers lap, clearly trying to seduce him and everything in him wanted so much to tell her to fuck off, but he knew it could ruin the mood of everything, plus it might raise an eyebrow from Jake, which he didn't want, so he let her be and took a big gulp of his beer while looking away, ignoring her. His eyes met Casper as he placed down his beer, who looked with interest, smiling slightly to himself, probably finding it all amusing. Oliver glared at him before looking at the girl, who were pushing herself up against him, her boobs pressing onto him arm, almost demanding attention on her.

Oliver didn’t push her away but let her stay. She was eager to talk with him, and started to talk about what she did in her everyday life, her hobbies and about what was studying for, but Oliver only heard half of it, not paying attention to her as he finished his second beer.

He glanced at Jake, who were busy talking to one of his friends, as his girl sitting on him, her arms wrapped around his neck. Then he looked at Casper, who were talking to some guy, but he caught Casper glancing his way, almost as if he was interested to see what was going on with Oliver and the girl.

The girl pulled Olivers arm, forcing him to look at her. She didn’t look happy with being ignored but pretended she didn’t mind as she smiled flirtingly at him.

“What do you say to find somewhere quiet, just the two of us?” she suggested and Oliver wondered why she hadn't picked up the hint that he wasn't interested, when he realized that, she probably wasn't used to guys not paying her attention, which was why she had just offered they could have fun.

Oliver forced a tight lipped smile but he gently pushed her away, “sorry, but you are not really my type,” he politely rejected her, and even though she looked insulted, she flashed him a big smile and placed a hand on his chest.

“Well maybe it’s because you don’t know me well enough,” she said flirtingly, clearly desperate to make Oliver interested, but Oliver didn’t care. He shook his head and scooted a bit away from her, pushing her hand away.

“Sorry, but I’m not interested,” he tried to be polite again, but he could feel his temper slightly rising. The girl huffed and crossed her arms, this time not hiding how insulted she felt.

“Fine, you probably aren’t even that good,” she was trying hurt his ego as a man, but he had to suppress a laugh. He wasn't hurt by her because he knew he was good in bed, but not in the way she would want him. The girl got up and left, leaving Oliver alone with the others which suited him well.

He glanced at Casper who was taking a sip of his beer, but looking at Oliver over the rim of the can, his eyes clearly smiling. Oliver flipped him off and Casper returned it, which was slightly unexpected but it made him smile slightly.

After four beer’s Oliver got up. He was getting bored, because Jake's friends didn't share the same interest so he had a hard time communicating with them, so he decided to roam around the cabins, pulling out 2 pills and swallowed it with his beer. It was strong painkillers, so it wouldn’t do much, beside give him a slight buzz while he went looking for people he might know, and found a different group to sit with, people he had talked with before at a different party. They offered him a bottle and Oliver took it with pleasure. The burning taste of cheap whiskey were better than the taste of bitter beer, and he took a big swig before handing it back.

As time progressed and more whiskey got into his system, the more fun he seemed to have. A hot guy sat down next to him, with dark brown hair and a nice well trimmed beard and a slightly muscular body, that clearly showed he did some sort of sport, and they started to talk. He was four years older than Oliver and lived in a different state, apparently he was visiting his cousin. The guy moved closer to Oliver and his hand placed on Oliver’s lower back while leaning in close. He seemed drunk, but he was very touchy with Oliver, placing his hand on Olivers knee, which made him think, that maybe there was a chance they could hook up, knowing that the chance of meeting again were slim.

“You interested in some different kind of fun?” Oliver asked him in a hushed voice, smirking flirtingly, a thing he only did, when he were trying to test the waters of the guys he wanted to hook up with. The guy looked a little taken aback, but he then shrugged and said sure, smiling. Oliver had been here many times, knew of a good place where they could have some privacy, decided to get up and beckon the guy to follow him. Oliver wanted to take him behind one of the cabins, but because there were so many peoples around, he decided to take him some where else.

As they left the group and walked in the direction of where they could have some fun, they passed where Jake and Casper had been last time he was there. He didn’t see Jake nor the girl he was with, but Casper was still there. As if Casper knew Oliver was looking at him, he looked in the direction of Oliver and their eyes met. Casper then glanced at the guy before he looked back at Oliver, for a moment he seemed unhappy but he looked away. Oliver didn’t really understand, what was going on in Caspers mind, but he didn’t like it so he decided to ignore him before retuning his focus on the guy.

The forest were thick and dark, and there was a few large trees which made it easy for them to hide behind. The bark were rough and Oliver did what he could to keep his body away from it with his hands, as every thrust pushed him up against the tree. The guy held tightly onto Olivers hips, thrusting hard which Oliver didn’t mind, if it wasn't because the guy didn’t care about how Oliver felt.

Oliver had regretted having sex with the guy, since his dick was probably one of the smallest one, he had ever had the pleasure of, and Oliver didn’t feel satisfied, but he couldn’t do anything to himself, since moving his hand away, would result in him get cut up by the bark. So, the only thing Oliver could do was to wait, until the guy was finished and it didn’t take long. The guy thrusted one last time before he shivered behind Oliver, letting out a quiet moan, pumping the condom full. When he pulled out, a slick wet sound popped and the guy took a step away.

“Fuck, if I knew ass could be so good, I should have done it before,” the guy panted as he pulled off the condom and threw it on the ground. Oliver stood up, his back aching and his hands full of tiny cuts, which he immediately regretted, knowing he would have to clean up the cuts when he gets home.

When Oliver turned around while pulling up his pants and zipping it, the guy looked at him and for a moment, several emotions flashed across his face and it made Oliver freeze in his spot. His whole body told him to run, like he suddenly were standing in front of a dangerous beast.

“Shit” was all Oliver could say as the guy lifted up his fist and punched Oliver in his face, then his stomach, knocking out all the air from inside of him, his vision blackening as gasped for air and coughed.

“Fucking disgusting” the guy hissed, almost like he was saying it to himself, before he kicked Oliver one last time, luckily he managed to protect his stomach, but he felt a sharp pain in his wrist and knew the kick had probably damaged it. The guy didn’t do anything else beside spit on him and left Oliver on the ground.
Oliver took a few minutes, letting himself get air in his lungs before he stood up, trembling as his head pounded and his wrist screamed in pain.

It wasn’t the first time he had sex with someone, who then regretted it all after, when reality hit them, and they realized they had sex with a guy and enjoyed it. It was the first time he had been beaten up afterwards though.

Oliver sighed exhausted and all he wanted now was to go home, get an ice pack on his jaw and put a bandage on his wrist. Maybe tomorrow he could get his dad to take him to the hospital? Oliver wondered if he even would be home.

Oliver has long given up achieving anything in his life. With ADHD, bad vision and being deaf on his left ear, he never thought of himself as anything special, and it didn't help that his older brother was the golden child, who aced all his tests and never did anything wrong.

When Oliver saw Casper, someone he hadn't seen for six years but someone he hadn't forgotten, the memories of him and Casper fighting, the constant mockery and bullying, left him with a grudge he couldn't let go off, so seeing him again after so long, those feelings arose once again.

What he didn't know was that meeting Casper again, would change his life around, and his struggle with drugs and alcohol would be the foundation for their friendship, and maybe something more.
