Godfrey was born into the esteemed Alden family and was the heir. At a young age, he showed high levels of intelligence and magical aptitude. As a child, Godfrey had to live a high nobility lifestyle. He had a rough schedule, things ranging from being a good host to learning how to play every instrument. He even kept high grades in school. It's said he even rivaled the last Pistol, Lucas Alden, who hasn't been seen in the last twenty years. At a young age, Godfrey got his blue Pistol and he really only had one friend. 

 

Kanu was born into a high-ranking family in the House of Seven. The Kakegurui family wasn't as high ranking as far as magical abilities go, but the fact that this family-owned and ran all the Casinos in the Edict made them high in society. Kanu is the bearer of the Yellow Pistol. She is also the heiress of her family and her nickname is the Lady of Luck. If it wasn't for her being the heiress of this family, she wouldn't even be allowed into the casinos her family owns. She loves money more than anything else, but she also keeps up with her studies and is the fourth highest-ranking student in her high school. Only three people stand above her and they are her only friends. Godfrey, who's number one, Raven, who is number two, and her rival Sotto Akuma. 

 

Sotto was born into the military family known as the Akuma. This house holds all the branches of military forces. Every other house has members in the military but the Akuma family is the head. Sotto is a lieutenant general in the Akuma military. Her father is the main general. Sotto has the highest combat training of anyone in the military and her family's magical aptitude is the second-highest behind the Alden’s. Sotto has the Red Pistol’s power. She's also the number three of the students in her high school behind Godfrey, and Raven.

 

Raven’s birth was shrouded in mystery as she was found by Simon and Arora and raised as their own. When Arora died, Simon made arrangements for Raven to be adopted by the Trinity House. Because of this, Raven grew up in the medical industry and she became a nurse at the age of twelve. By the age of fifteen, she was already a doctor. When she's not at the hospital, she's at school or with Rayne. She's the number two student in her high school behind Godfrey. She could easily be the number one but she doesn't care about being the best in school. She would rather be the best doctor. She was given the Green Pistol’s power. Her personality is usually sarcastic and she says whatever comes to her mind, whether or not your feelings are hurt. 

 

Demetria was born into the Vintis House. This house is full of engineers. They have the biggest factories and they can fix pretty much anything. Demetria is also the Akuma’s military mechanic and best friend to Sotto. These two grew up together. Demetria also has the White Pistol’s power and is the fifth highest-ranking student in the high school they all go to. 

 

Angela was born into the Soloaris family. This family is the athletic family and they are the primary place for all sports including basketball, football, soccer, tennis, and golf. They even hold the Olympics. Angela likes to be called Angie and while her grades aren't the best, she gets by being tutored by Godfrey himself. Her athletic abilities are far superior to anyone else, and she is the captain of every team she joins. She was also given the powers of the Purple Pistol. Anyone could find her always training for the next event. 

 

Rayne was born into the Seneca family. Although their magical aptitude is very low, they are the biggest import-export business in Edict. Rayne, only being ten years old, wasn't in high school with all the others. She was in grade school but she was liked by everyone that came in contact with her. She was kind-hearted but she knew about death and suffering. However, she wasn't going to let that stop her from being the best that she could be. Rayne was also given the Grey Pistol’s powers. This time around, the war was going to take a sudden twist with Rayne. She did not know it yet, but she was going to have the powers of the Great Pistol. She knew that she had to take a place in this war and trained every day to get better with her aunties, Rurima and Raven, whenever she could. Rayne was the number one student in her school. 

 

Two years have passed and all the Pistols have graduated from school. They are all twenty years old and Rayne is now twelve years old. The goddess of Rainbows, Iris, got into the minds of all the Pistols and told them that the Fifth Great Pistol War was coming up and that they all had to meet at the house of the woman who was exiled from the houses, Rurima Seneca. She was going to be the guardian of them in the war. Each one of them showed up to the place they were told to go, each one of them were a bit skeptical at first. However, as Rurima explained herself, it all made sense and they knew that she was the best one to help them in this war. Soon, they all started their pistol training under the guidance of Rurima.
