The warm orange glow of the sunset contrasts the situation with its beauty, while the horror of the darkness creeps near. A silhouette of a young lad leaping into the air, soaring towards the direction of a huge green lizard.

A small group of ten (10) people stood there and watched all this unfold. Among the group were two men vanguarding with spears in their hands, with a young lady standing behind them. The rest seem to be people with light injuries and without weapons to fight. 

   Jonathan slashes the beast's arm, while two men with spears pierce its chest. The beast neared the death doors and let out a thunderous howl. Jon took several steps back in order to avoid the beast's claws as the green lizard squirmed in pain.

While on the sidelines, Jonathan shouted, "Don't let up, men, ram it again !!"

"Let's make sure; it is dead for sure !!" He continued to bark orders.

The spearmen take multiple steps back with spears in hand. Swiftly after, they charged with force, plunging it into the beast's chest once more. The beast quickly slashes at them as if it is trying to retaliate. 

A faint and feminine voice could be heard speaking, "Active light protection."

[Light Protection skill has been activated.]

[Light Protection is a skill that allows its caster to create a clear blue barrier, protecting a small number of allies. This skill requires a Large amount of concentration to keep active.]

 Suddenly, a young woman, attempting to buy time and guard the men, created a transparent, light blue barrier. The beast made another attempt to breach the barrier, but was unsuccessful. While the green lizard was still distracted by the barrier, both men took advantage of the opportunity to circle around the beast’s blind side. 

Jonathan then barks his order at the men "Pin the beast's legs down with your spears now!!"

Spearman #1 shouted, "Active Enhanced Material Skills!!"  The spear began glowing with a bright light.

[ Enhanced Material skills have the ability to improve any material held or in contact with the user. The skill will allow said material to be improved upon.]

  spearman#2 shouted as well, "Active solid build skill !!" As before, a bright light envelopes the area.

  [ Solid Build is a skill that allows the user to make any object being held or within contact semi-indestructible for a matter of 20 seconds.]

  While both spearmen clench their teeth as they fight for their dare lives to hold on. As the beast keeps thrashing around in pain, trying to free itself. Force from the lizard's struggles begins to affect the young lady's barrier, causing small fissures in multiple places. The look on her face was that of agony, with sweat dripping down her feet. Her concrete was slipping, and her ability to keep the barrier up seems to become harder as time goes by.

Jon placed his hands on her shoulders in order to reassure her that everything would be alright. Because he was there for her and all the others she was trying to protect. Jon took a stance, readying himself to attack before the barrier fell. He closes his eyes while maintaining his stance, with his knife pointed forward and both feet planted firmly. He exhales and inhales slowly, meditating while counting all the seconds left before the barrier falls. 

His face flinched for a bit as he felt something happening at that moment A weird sensation started to take place. 

( I can feel a warm heat spreading from my stomach as it circulates all over my body.) Jon was thinking this to himself. 

Suddenly, the sound of glass being broken was heard. The barrier crumbles into many pieces, falling down slowly and gently like snow falling from the sky. Jon opened his eyes and started to sprint at full speed, dashing through all the crumbling  bits of barrier gently falling and shining like glitter. With a small gust of wind following behind him, he zoomed towards the green beast. He was moving so fast that one could mistake him for a track and field star; the moment was his, and it was his stage. 

The surrounding area began to be filled with voices shouting out and cheering for him as he inched closer to the beast. He became a blur for a brief moment, while his knife also glows and shimmers for a bit. 

Swosh 

The green lizard head was severe, with a single slash. The life in the eyes of the creatures faded away as quick as the head landed on the ground, and no more sound was heard from it anymore. Like a geyser, the blood suddenly started flowing out of the headless body, spraying everywhere like rain. The people seemed to not mind the blood too much because of the joy that came from victory and their survival. 

Jon started to look dumbfounded, and he even started to look all over his body. He wondered what happened a few moments ago; he felt so warm, and he wondered how he was able to pull off such an impressive kill. 

"What happened to my knife? It glowed for a moment,” he asks himself about the event that took place. 

“I felt so light and full of power. I felt this warm heat moving through my arms and legs,” he said again, asking himself even more questions. 

Both the spearmen took their weapons outside the beast's back feet. They use their spears as crutches to hold up their heavy and tired bodies as they breathe heavily. Abruptly, the four combatants' phones were vibrating, and a message appeared.
