A long time passed, after Raúl told them everything that had happened in the last few days, before the director and his assistant were able to come out of their amazement. Raul had spent all that time with his face in his hands completely tired of everything. Then Mr. Cortez broke the silence "What do you want to do?". Raúl looked up at these words and his face was filled with confusion. "You don’t need to answer me right now, you can go home, rest and tell me tomorrow what you decided," Mr Cortez said kindly. Before these words Raúl nodded slightly. Mr Cortez looked at Julián and without saying anything he approached Raúl. Both left the office and immediately Mr Cortez took the phone.
The ringtone rang three times before the phone was answered. "You have exactly 10 minutes to get to my office," he said in a threatening tone and finished the call without waiting for an answer. He left the phone on the desk and sat down in his seat. After 8 minutes, hasty steps were heard in the hallway. Mr Cortez settled down with his elbows on the desk and put his face on his hands waiting for the door to open.
The sound of the door being opened was accompanied by heavy breathing. Tadeo entered the place as he wiped his sweat and tried to catch his breath. "Don’t you dare sit down" left Mr Cortez when Tadeo took one of the chairs in front of the desk. Tadeo shuddered at the severity of the director’s voice; he stood by his hands, and his face painted with concern.
Tadeo was moving nervously instead as he felt Mr Cortez’s piercing gaze upon him. After what felt like hours Mr Cortez let out a big sigh before lowering his hands and relaxing his expression "Stop acting like a child about to be scolded and take a seat" he told Tadeo. The redhead relaxed a little and took a seat, waiting for the director to start talking. Mr Cortez got up and walked to a large bookcase by the window and took a bottle and 2 glasses that were there, then returned to his desk and sat down.
Mr. Cortez opened the bottle and served wine in the two glasses in front of him. Spend another quiet time enjoying their drink until they see the end of the bottle. Then, Mr Cortez loosened his tie and looked at Tadeo who had the look lost in his empty glass. The director shook his head at the scene in front of him and gasped.
"You have a lot to explain to me, Tadeo," the director said in a soft but firm voice. The redhead looked up and the confusion was visible on his face. "No, I have nothing to explain," Tadeo said with complete conviction. Mr Cortez, somewhat exasperated, said "Yes, you have; young Raúl has already come to tell me about your tantrum in the cafeteria". Tadeo put his eyes like plates before settling into the chair with his spleens crossed and his gaze on the floor. "I don’t know what you’re talking about," the redhead said in a whisper. Mr Cortez boiled in fury at such an answer. "Are you kidding me? You are already too hairy to act like a spoiled child" the director snorted with his gaze fixed on Tadeo.
Tadeo simply grew smaller in the chair and ignored the director’s words. Faced with this response, Mr Cortez got up from his chair and hit the desk hard, jumping the redhead out of his place. Tadeo was already quite frightened and began to speak, he explains to him what had happened that day from the beginning to the end. Once he finished talking, he took his cell phone out of his pocket and gave it to Mr Cortez. The director took the phone into his hands, and his anger grew more once he read the messages on the screen. Mr Cortez returned Tadeo’s cell phone "Why didn’t you tell me the moment you got the first message?" asked the worried director as he sat down again. "I don’t know, I thought I could take care of everything once I got to the cafe; but as you know, things just got out of control because of my shitty character," the redhead admitted painfully.
"No matter how old you are, you’re still the same," the director said, seeing the redhead. Tadeo hid his face in his hands and remained silent for a few minutes. Mr Cortez sat next to the redhead and patted him on the back, talked for a few more minutes and then Tadeo left the office. Mr Cortez settled into his chair and turned it to face with the window behind him. He put his hands together, leaving his elbows on the armrests, and looked up at the night sky. "It seems that no matter how far one runs, misfortune always finds its way back, fate can be very cruel Leo" said the director with a sad face before sinking into his thoughts.
*Sobbing* Mr Cortez’s words are hard, but they are not lies. Part of being destiny is being in charge of what you know as karma. You will then understand that no matter what, if someone accumulates too much karma, either positive or negative, it returns. And, unfortunately, the events that happened from here, are my work. I do not regret anything, it is my work and although it is not well perceived, it is done so that you humans learn valuable lessons. *Sigh* Now, I recommend you keep in mind the events of the messages, in the not-too-distant future they will be what reveals a very dark and cruel secret. For the moment, instead of being switching between Tadeo and Raúl as before, we will focus closely on Raúl, since his actions have a great weight in what will happen to Tadeo later, and I would like you to understand the reason behind it.
Then let’s go back a little. Let’s go back to the exact moment when Julián approaches Raúl, after he released all the events lived up to that moment...
