Is there a point in life where he simply gets bored of playing with us like a child loses interest in his toys?

Day in and day out, this is all I've been thinking about. I barely focus on work, and I haven't been spending time with my friends. Not that I have any, but I mean, I consider my coworkers my friends. We have lunch together. I think that counts.

I don't know how long that will last.

A few weeks ago my physician was taking a leave to take care of his newborn daughter. Next time I called back, an irritated receptionist asked me not to do prank calls. Apparently he's been dead for years.
