Her long silver hair would dance in the wind and her opalescent silver eyes grew shinier. Indeed, she grew to be the most beautiful young lady in the entire kingdom. With her silver hair and eyes, and pale skin, she soon gained the title "The Silver Maiden." Many suitors would come from all over the kingdom to count their luck and ask for the girl's hand, but one after the other, she'd turn them all away. Her heart had already belonged to the great beast who lived in the forbidden forest. However, the girl did not tell her parents about the beast and her love for him, and him for her. They grew worried for their daughter as she'd make continuous trips to and from the forbidden forest, and she'd turn away the most dashing of men. They had assumed that maybe their child had someone else in her heart, and they were right, but the girl didn't tell them about the beast. The parents grew weary of the girl. They wished to know the reason why their beloved daughter would visit the forest religiously. So, the next time the girl left the forbidden forest, the parents decided to follow her and find out for themselves just who was the man their daughter chose to give her heart to. Just like every other day, the young girl would go to the edge of the forbidden forest and look around to ensure no one followed her. The parents found a spot to hide to await the girl's return.
