The little human girl dreaded that store owned by a Beastwoman with a
hateful attitude toward humans, especially those of the same gender. But
she had no other choice... The tiny bell ring announced her arrival at
the store.
Quickly, she searched for all the necessities and
gathered them in her arms. She bought a set of a gray hoodie with pants
for a male and medicine. As the beastly shop assistant was ringing her,
she narrowed her eyes at that petite human. Those were clothes for
Beastfolk, not Human. She glared even more at her.
The
girl rushed back to her apartment, put the stuff on the table in front
of him, and checked on Ivaylo. He was sweating like crazy and tried to
wake him up without touching him. "Mister! Hey, mister!"
Ivaylo
heard her muffled pleading and opened his eyes. He still was drunk but
also caught a cold and had a high fever. The young woman pushed the
clothes toward him. "Are you able to change into these dry clothes?!"
Ivaylo
began to undress, which shocked her and she swiftly turned. He took off
EVERYTHING, even his underwear and that left her flustered. She waited
until he was done changing and then turned back picking up his clothes
to hang them for drying.
Ivaylo lay on his folded arms over the
kotatsu table and was kind of dozing off. She wasn't sure if he was weak
from the cold or just out from the alcohol or both. She sighed and
walked over to the sitting area by the window grabbing a blanket that
she wrapped around his shoulders. She won't get rid of that drunken
Beast for today...
For the night she locked herself inside the
bedroom. Not really for safety, since the door was very weak, just for
peace of mind. Early morning she woke up, got ready, and found Ivaylo
completely wrapped in the blanket sweetly sleeping. She contemplated if
she should wake him up or not. He was a stranger after all, but also he
was sick and didn't seem to be dangerous.
Silently she prepared
an omelet for him with some tea, which she poured into a thermo flask to
keep it warm. All of that was placed on the table with a written note
and then she disappeared to go to work.
Ivaylo slowly woke up
fully relaxed, only five minutes after her departure. That pleasant
smell absorbed him completely. He opened his eyes to be left confused.
Where the heck was he? He just sat up and noticed the breakfast on the
table.
He grabbed the paper and turned it around. "Good
Morning Mister! I hope you had a good sleep and feel better since you
not only had a cold yesterday but came here completely drunk. Please,
help yourself with the breakfast and herbal tea. Your clothes are
hanging to dry. When you leave just shut the door behind you. Thank you!
Have a nice day!"
Ivaylo tilted his head backward to
freshen up his memory from yesterday. Right, he barged in with the scarf
and sat at this table, then he remembered, how he began to tear his
clothes off of himself. His head bobbed forward looking down on his
body. He wore some weird clothes right now.
He blushed because
he made a fool out of himself in front of a human. It was so awkward...
Oh God, have mercy! After a while of sulking, he ate, what she prepared
for him and looked around a little. He was left alone here, so he went
for a little snooping stroll around, but not into her privacy.
His
curiosity spun around that window sitting area. He wanted to try it
out. He had envied it for quite some time now. He gave into his
intrusive needs and sat down in that soft space, leaning on the furry
pillows. It felt so soothing, sitting at the cold window, which got hazy
from his warm body being too close to the glass.
Despite all
the trees being naked, the view of the street was beautiful and Ivaylo
caught himself sitting there watching into nowhere drinking the steaming
tea from the thermo flask. The ambiance was making him sleepy, but he
couldn't fall asleep, he had to go to work.
It was annoying, for
the first time, he just wanted to stay home... *not his home* and laze
around. That was unlike his workaholic self. He walked towards the
drying rack and noticed his underwear there... his eyes almost fell out
of their sockets. Did he flaunt his "manhood" in front of that human?
He
felt awful and it was not from the hangover or cold. He dressed in his
working suit that picked up her scent from the surroundings, he noticed
it, as he walked out of the apartment and it appeased him.
Ivaylo
went to work like always, with the difference, that he didn't need to
wake up so early nor hurry up and worry about the traffic. He was in a
much better mood at work, despite sniffling a little from the sickness.
From
time to time Ivaylo looked out of the window daydreaming and slacking a
little from work. Nobody paid attention to that, he could do nothing
the whole day, and nobody would care. But of course, he did his tasks as
always in a short time, closed his eyes, and then could fantasize about
that soft sitting place next to that huge window.
The end of
the work day rolled around and he had no clue what to do. He didn't
really desire to go to his cold condo in the city center. What should he
do now? He rather opted to go grab a drink.
Two hours later, he
found himself drunk again walking down the sidewalk toward that human
woman's apartment. He stopped in front of the building and looked up. He
saw her sitting there at his *now* favorite spot. He entered the
building wobbly walking up the stairs.
A loud knock on the apartment. The petite lady opened up the door and there he was... Not again?! she thought to herself.
Ivaylo, the young hybrid man is fighting every day with his identity. He despises his human-looking body parts to the point of occasional self-harm. What fate awaits him?
