"You guys ready?" asked a ragged-voiced male as he shut the trunk of a car and made his way to the driver's seat. He was answered in unison by three others as they followed suit. With the loud purring of the car engine, the four teens finally embarked on their trip. They left around noon, and the drive to their destination took no longer than five, or six hours yet approaching the cabin entrance, the sky became bleak and dreary. An eerie aura veiled the dense thicket of trees. Thunder rumbled in the background. A storm was approaching. After what felt like hours had passed, the car finally stopped and the teenagers stepped out. The two males of the group swiftly went to the rear of the car to get their luggage before the storm hit them. Meanwhile, the other two female members of the group looked around the cabin's exterior. It was old. Like it had been there for many years. Vines were growing around the wooden walls. Overgrown shrubs were present around the base. It was apparent that no one had lived there for a very long time. A quick flash of light signaled the four teens to get inside hastily. The inside was shabbier than the outside. There were cobwebs everywhere. Even in places that don't usually have them. The floor was so dusty, that it looked like grey snow covering the floorboard. Despite the cabin's appearance, it seemed like a cozy place to live in for a few days. "All right, Mols, you and me are gonna go tackle the kitchen," said a boisterous female in an energetic c tone. Her companion, Mollie, wasn't too keen on the idea but still complied with a slight nod. "While we're doing that, you boys can take our stuff to any room upstairs. When you're done, pick a room and clean it." After her statement, the girl headed towards the kitchen. The two boys reluctantly carried the suitcases up to the second floor. With each step they took, the stairway would creek. They had to be cautious, if not and they took the wrong step they would fall through. There were five doors upstairs. One door led to the bathroom. Another to a sort of storage area. The remaining three were bedrooms. There were two small ones and a big one. "The big one's probably the master bedroom," said a deep refined voice. "Yeah, bet the girls' would want it," replied the other male. After the room assigning was over. The boys made their way back downstairs, and just as their friend had ordered, they each chose a room and cleaned it. By the time everyone was finished cleaning, gloomy clouds had enshrouded the sky. The rain came down, straight and silvery. It clattered onto the roof of the cabin like steel rods clanging to the floor. Thunder bellowed in the distance. White streaks that tore through the sky would flash. Mollie would jump, and her eyes became misty with every roar of thunder or flash of lightning.
A mysterious cabin where people disappear. Four students have to try to survive and find a way to escape. Will they be able to escape, or will they never see the light of day ever again...
