Trigger Warnings: Self harm, violence, death
Part 1: Denial - Episode 6+
Trigger Warnings: Self harm, violence, death
The night thickens;
The dust cannot settle,
An unharmonious being lurks nearby.
William flies down the steps of the dull cabin entrance. His head felt light, the world spun slowly. His breath was just out of reach as he spluttered and coughed. A corrosive ache in his stomach of anxiousness and fear crept throughout his whole body as he stumbled around the side of the cabin.
There Abel sat, his blue t-shirt now a dark maroon… Abel was lightly pushing Thy Bad Habits’ head away with the last drops of his strength. William screamed, the feeling of the cry rattled through his throat, a scratchy feeling prickled in his throat. Thy Bad Habits bolted, its mouth was stained with blood.
There Abel sat, wounds covering his arms and legs, his hair messy and his voice nearly inaudible. William fell to his knees in front of Abel, gathering him into his arms. Abel’s head was resting against William’s chest as he cried – as they both cried. William wiped Abel’s tears, leaving one last kiss on his forehead.
“Please, go find that ring, Will…” Abel breathed. Even just speaking sent a wave of unbearable pain shooting through him. William held him tighter, closer.
“I love you, Abel,” He choked, as Abel’s last breath brushed over his neck.
The feeling of Abel’s pocket knife in his shorts poked William’s leg. He took the blade.
. . .
William traced the scar on his arm, the light pink skin was smooth, he sighed. This forest holds bad memories. He thought to himself.
This forest… is a bad place.
