Part 2  

Moonpaw almost couldnt hear her own thoughts. She shot a quick, nodding glance at her friends, before turning toward the great rock. The leaders was yelling and hissing at eachother, but Moonpaw couldnt make out the words. Suddenly, Emberstar yowled: “Everyone, get back to your own territorys!” Moonpaw caught Novastar’s gaze curiously, and Novastar gave her an approving look. Nearly all Windclan cats, exept some warriors, who waited for Novastar’s approval. Moonpaw headed for the exit, and ran out in the forest. She went past Lightningpaw and Specklepaw, who were helping Goldenfur walk quickly trough the woods. When they were about halfway there, Moonpaw could hear the yowls from the twolegs, so loud that even the deafest elder would be able to hear it. When they reached the camp, Rabbitpelt ran into them. “Thank Starclan, you’re here!” she mewed. “the elders are in the nursery with the kits and the queens! There haven’t been any twolegs IN the camp, the warriors chased the closed ones away. Theyre young ones, so they were not that hard to scare away, they only needed a couple of schratches each.” Moonpaw was shocked to see how calm Novastar was about this. She had always wanted to be leader, but if she was leader knaow, she would definetly not be that calm. “If even 1 twoleg comes in, we’ve got to leave. We can come back a moon later, because if the twolegs find our camp, they would all come here. Maybe they’d even bring their dogs!” novastar mewed with an unreadable expression. “taking away from our territory!” specklepaw whispered. “that would be dangerous! And what about the elders?” Moonpaw exchanged a glance with Lightningpaw, before saying: “It may be dangerous, yes, but i actually think that Novastar is right. What else should we do if the twolegs come in here?” Specklepaw looked as if he aggred. “Lets go to our den, the warriors wont allow us to go out there” Lightningpaw suggested. They turned toward the apprentice den, where they met Conepaw, who looked frightened. “Blossompaw is gone!” he mewed. “What d’you mean gone!?” Moonpaw asked nervously. Conepaw was much older than them, and he would soon be ready to become a warrior. “When Longfur told us about the twolegs, and i went to speak to her, she wasnt there!” Conepaw replied. Soon he was shifting on his paws, and he looked like he had something he hadnt told them. “I... i think i know where she is, b-but i dont think i can go there alone, and i j-just dont know what to do!“ he almost whispered the last words out, as if he was to scared to say them. Before Moonpaw and Lightningpaw could do anything, Specklepaw almost yowled out: “We can help! I'm sure we could do with an adventure!” he shot a questioning look at Moonpaw and Lightning paw, who exchanged a glance, before nodding enthustiastichally to them. Moonpaw felt unexpectedly exited. Soon they slipped out into the forest.
