"Siya, where are you lost?"

She came out of her thoughts and replied, "Alia , I wasn't well yesterday and had a lot of pending work,  so I couldn't receive your call"

"Okay, But next time don't ignore me. You are my better half you know.I  missed you."

"By the way, Alia, Can you do something for me?"

"Yes,Siya . What happened?"

"Alia, I need you to pick up my trash."

"Trash??"

"Yes , Trash of my life... I mean I need to clean my garden...Ohh here comes the elevator... Come let's go."

Inside the elevator, stood Mr Ashish.
They both entered the elevator and as the doors were about to close, A hand prevented it from closing and entered
Mr. Raghav...

"Good morning Sir ..", Siya and Alia greeted Raghav.
"Good morning" he greeted back .

Mr.Ashish asked Siya , "Are you working on your proposal Ms .Siya? It should be ready by next week."

"Yes , Sir. I am working hard on it."

"I won't hold back if it sucks up again."

Alia defended Siya saying ," Sir Please don't say this . It sounds as if Siya is not making any efforts on it. In fact Siya is making all her efforts for the proposal. "

Alia noticed coffee in Siya's hand and said ,"Isn't this the coffee from the cafeteria across the street ?"

Mr.Ashish couldn't leave a chance to taunt Siya and show his authority and  scolded her,

" You have a lot of time to waste on such useless things that you spent your working hours on going to cafeteria. "

"No , Sir. I brought it on my way to the office..." But Ashish was not ready to listen to her .
"These are your efforts? Women never work and only want....."
But was cut off by a bang... sound made on the side wall of elevator. It was made by none other than Raghav's punch as he couldn't tolerate him scolding her .

    Soon their floor came and they came out of the elevator.

   "Just a minute, Ms.Siya",said Raghav and took her to the terrace of their office.

"Drink your coffee,Ms.Siya".

"Sir, would you like to have some?  I haven't drink it yet. Actually,I skipped my breakfast so..."
 
"Don't skip your breakfast . Drink it. It would be awkward for you to drink in there alone . So, I called you here."

"Thanks, Sir " and started drinking coffee.
He asked her ,"Did you injure your leg somewhere? You aren't walking properly."

She was actually surprised that he noticed it. Not even Alia noticed it and replied,"Yes, my knee just hit a table so.. but it's alright now."

"Okay , if you say so."

She said ,"Actually, I am not quitting ".

She took out a 100 Rs note from he pocket and showed it to him and said,
"Sir, Would you like to see this? My Appa used to draw a heart on the money whenever he used to give it to  me. I told him not to draw it but he used to say it's his love for me. I am a daughter who grew up with fatherly love . And I am going to try harder."

"Also, Sir ,you told me that I was talented and that helped me to make up my mind . Honestly, it's been so long since I forgot what I wanted but now I won't live like that anymore."

"That's a good idea, Ms Siya", he said with a smile.

"Did you just smile?. I have never seen you smiling."

"By the way do you have any work this weekend?"

  "No"

  "Yes, we do have plans , Mr Raghav" entered Alia ,"Did you forget already, Siya? , and turned to Raghav and said , "We planned to have dinner on Sunday at Hotel Maniprabha"

"Hotel Maniprabha?", he whispered

"Yes , do you know that hotel?"

"I have heard of it... Okay then" he said and left from there.

" Siya, even I want to have that coffee. Come let's go. I heard that their sandwiches are also good ...."

"Actually, Alia I have work so.." and left from there while Alia just kept looking at her back and thought,

"Siya, this is no fun . I saved you from going to work with Mr.Raghav  on Sunday and you didn't even come with me to coffee . All she does is work. I hate it."

Meanwhile, Raghav entered his cabin and searched for Siya's details in his employees list on his laptop and found her school details and called someone.

" Hello, is this Hotel Maniprabha?"
"Yes"
"I just wanted to confirm a school reunion at your hotel on Sunday. Is it at 7pm?"
"No, Sir it's at 6 pm "
"Ok thanks"

He again called someone and said ,"I need you to find someone for me...."

Just then Siya entered his cabin with some ointment and tablets and kept them on his table.

"Sir, these are good for pain relief for your injury."

"Okay, but did you take it ? You also had a knee injury"

"That's alright ,Sir. It doesn't pain much ."

He divided the packet of tablet into half and gave it to her.

"Here, you also have these tablets for pain relief and thanks for them"

She took those tablets  and said,
"Thankyou and welcome, Sir "and left the cabin.

She received a message from Samrat asking her to meet in the storeroom. Just as she entered the storeroom she was harshly pulled by a grip on her wrist by Samrat and he asked her,

"Did you dump me for that Raghav?"
He had seen her leaving Raghav's cabin.

"What.."

"Raghav is young and is Chairman so you think that he has got more power , right?? You fool, you only know half of the story. I told you you need to see beyond a man's look . Don't get fooled that he's interested in you. Just look at yourself. Your baggy clothes. These dupatta .these grandma type specs ... With these no man will be interested in you."

Siya just released a sigh.

"What's with that look? Both of you have something going between you, right?"

Siya just prayed in mind," I am sorry Raghav for lying"

"Samrat, Actually Mr.Raghav just asked me for bandage and painkillers as he was hurt"

"What... How could he do it ? I won't stand it" and was about to rush out of the room when Siya grabbed his hand and made a pitiful and cute face and said,

"Samrat, I wanted a break up because I feel that our relationship isn't as it used to be. I feel I don't matter to you anymore. You don't have time for me." She said trying to divert his attention from Raghav.

"So , were you upset because you thought that my feelings for you have changed ?" He asked with a proud and smiling face.

"Yes", she nodded and said,"I want a relationship that others would be envious of. I want you to be someone whom I can be proud of and other women would want to steal" she said trying her best to convince him

"Siya, it doesn't matters what others think , What matters is our feelings . I thought you were being silly . I was wrong . Okay , I will pay more attention to you from now on." He said feeling proud that she craved his attention.

"Come, let's make up" and move forward to her for a kiss.
"Samrat , we are at work."She said trying to avoid the kiss.
"Doesn't matter, Siya"and tried to kiss her. She grabbed something from the shelf to hit him and avoid the kiss but stopped when the door was opened by none other than Raghav.

"What are you doing here ,Mr Samrat?"
"Sir, I was just ... leaving.. for work" he said and left the room .

"Ms. Siya, I know it's not my place to tell. But even between lovers unwanted physical contact is bad. You are a smart person. Don't make such mistakes." and left from there.

She wondered, 'did he come here because he was worried about me?"

After a while, it was lunch break.

Alia said, "Come, Siya let's go to have lunch"
Samrat said , "Yes, Siya leave the work at least in the lunch break "and the trio went to have lunch. They stood in the queue to get their food.

And Siya remembered the incident of her previous life..

Flashback 

"Come, Siya let's sit on that table " Alia said and turned and bumped into Siya . As a result , all the food which Siya was carrying fell on her and her clothes were covered with food. But that was not enough for Alia. She pretended to be concerned for her and bent down with her plate "Siya , are you alright?" And made the curry in her plate fall on Siya's face and rubbed her hand on her face pretending to clean her face. 'O god, now what do we do?'

Samrat said, "Siya, you are always very clumsy" and went away .

Flashback ends

'At that time, I thought you were my friend but now I know your real face. It's time to change my past, Alia' thought Siya
