I got my friend to play Undertale the other day, and she was so confused by Jerry. She usually tried getting everyone sparable before giving Mercy, and right as soon as she started I was like "just ignore that guy". "What?" "Really, ignore Jerry". She went through the whole process of dealing with Ice Cap and tried sparing Jerry. "Now, ditch him." "What?" "Go into ACT and ditch him". She tried sparing him several times before going into ACT. Aside from alluding to a few Easter Eggs and relaying some information she already gathered from the game I hadn't interfered at all, but I couldn't let her be ruined by Jerry xD I just couldn't.
