Today is my fifth birthday, and I can hardly contain my excitement. Mommy and Daddy say that I'm going to start school at a special place called the Prometheus Institute. They say it's a school for kids like me, with special abilities and unique features.
I've always known that I was different from the other kids in our neighborhood. My green skin, wings, tail, and horn make me stand out wherever I go. Sometimes people stare or point, but Mommy and Daddy always tell me that I'm special and that my differences are what make me beautiful.
As I get ready for my first day of school, I can't help but flutter my wings in anticipation. Mommy helps me put on my favorite shirt, the one with the picture of a flying unicorn on it. She says it reminds her of me.
When we arrive at the Prometheus Institute, I'm amazed by what I see. There are kids with all sorts of different features - some have wings like me, others have horns or tails, and some even have glowing skin! For the first time in my life, I feel like I belong.
The teachers at the Prometheus Institute are all really nice. They tell us that we're special and that our abilities are gifts to be celebrated. I can't wait to learn more about what I can do and make new friends who understand what it's like to be different.
As I wave goodbye to Mommy and Daddy, I feel a sense of excitement and nervousness all at once. But I know that this is the start of a new adventure, and I can't wait to see where it takes me.
