Chapter 3- Zephyr

I wake up with a smile on my face, eager to start my first full day at the Prometheus Institute. Mommy helps me get ready, making sure my wings and tail are neatly groomed. I can't help but bounce with excitement as we make our way to the school.

As I enter the classroom, I'm greeted by a warm smile from my teacher, Miss Nova. She has shimmering, iridescent skin that reminds me of a rainbow. "Good morning, Zephyr!" she says, "Are you ready for a day full of learning and fun?"

"Wow!" I exclaimed as I stepped into the classroom. "Everything is so shiny and new!" I couldn't wait to make friends with all the other kids who looked just as excited as me.

I nod enthusiastically, taking my seat next to a girl with shimmering, silver hair. She introduces herself as Luna, and we quickly bond over our shared love of flying.

Throughout the day, we engage in various activities that help us understand and control our unique abilities. In one class, we practice levitating small objects with our minds. I struggle at first, but with Miss Nova's guidance and encouragement, I manage to lift a feather by the end of the lesson.

During lunch, I sit with Luna and a boy named Kai, who has a pair of cat-like ears on his head. We chat excitedly about our favorite superheroes and imagine what it would be like to have their powers.

In the afternoon, we have a special class focused on embracing our differences. Miss Nova tells us that our unique features are what make us special and that we should never be ashamed of who we are. I feel a sense of pride and belonging, knowing that I'm surrounded by others who understand what it's like to be different.

As the day comes to an end, I can't wait to tell Mommy and Daddy all about my new friends and the incredible things I've learned. I know that the Prometheus Institute is the perfect place for me to grow and discover my true potential.
