[Holly's account]Sir Serelay left, leaving me with the captive. At least I could find out what made him so special, that even those powerful two would protect him...
Now that I was looking at him properly, his state was terrible. Scars like that, maybe he was also a soldier. That being true, we would be enemies, but we could also relate.
"What happened?" I asked. I was interested, he was putting his words together.
"I spoke to many about the truth." He said. That was all? "You sure you weren't fighting valiantly like Serelay?"
The man scoffed. He ridiculed, belittled me. All over my "worship of those two warriors", what rubbish. I merely explained why it only made sense to admire such examples of strength and of men. "How could you be so foolish? They bleed like anybody else, they do wrong like us all too. None of us deserve any sort of praise." He shouted.
Yeesh, what's his problem. I see why he was in pri- "I am very sorry. I should not have raised my voice or addressed you so disrespectfully." Seems the old nut could apologise. I told him that I accepted, 'least that was over. "So what did you speak about?" I asked. His eyes fixed upon mine.
"The kingdom of Antrellia is a lie. Antrell is a false-" His words were cut off by the hailstorm of arrows, shrouded in darkness but their whistles were loud and clear. Each metal tip dug into the dirt it pierced like drizzling rain.
I had to get away.
And I had to escape with the man. Grabbing him by his arm, we bolted into the woods. Dodging trees, keeping pace and searching for any signs of light. Things to avoid. A flicker was off in the distance, it was green. While turning to the other direction, I smashed into a tree stump. My legs were in agony. The loud thud alerted the attackers and that ominous light got closer. "May the True King heal you." Such cryptic words flowed from the man's mouth. It was mysterious, but after seeing the light approach, I leaped for cover. How did I...? No matter, he was still out there. A group of three wearing cloaks similar to mine stood before the captive, he was in deep stuff.
"We are still here." Roared a distant voice, triumphantly. It was probably Elash but I could not be too careful
What looked like bolts of lightning darted to our position, destroying each tree in their path. Pure rays of destruction. {Breath Of Death}
The three attackers did not have a chance , each arrow lodged into their bodies. We survived!
In the kingdom of Trellia, many enjoy chasing luxuries and lavish goods. Few have to fight for the kingdom and its psychotic king Antrell, even though they are helped by magical abilities he gives it wears away at one's soul. Elash and Serelay have a big job that'll take all they have but it might be easier than following Antrell's leadership.
