Gimp averts his gaze, feeling ashamed and embarrassed, hesitant to confess to Asukem. Asukem, appearing confused, reassures, "Let me know when you're comfortable, little one. I'll be patient." Gimp soared into the sky, reveling in his newfound freedom while still keeping an eye on Asukem.
Asukem made his way towards the Wolverfang Forest, with Gimp soaring above him in the sky. Never had Asukem witnessed such pure happiness. Gimp was twirling in circles, laughing and completely carefree. Seeing the little Sin kin so joyful brought a warm feeling to Asukem's heart. He couldn't help but smile and chuckle, feeling his eyes well up with tears of joy.
Gimp noticed Asukem wiping his eyes. He swooped down and perched on his demonic arm, expressing concern, "Hey, are you alright, master?" Asukem gave Gimp a disapproving look, not fond of being called master, but replied, "I'm fine. By the way, I don't think I caught your name?" Gimp appeared confused and responded, "Didn't I already tell you when we were in Rhino's tent?" Asukem gasped, realizing what Gimp meant, "Oh, right, you did." Asukem apologized, "I must have thought I was hearing things when you mentioned your name. I'm sorry." Gimp flew over to a nearby rock, facing Asukem, and said, "Well, in that case, allow me to properly introduce myself." He gracefully bowed to Asukem and introduced himself, "I'm Gimp Darkrune, hailing from the fae forests. Humans refer to me as a pixie, but I am Sin Kin. It's a pleasure to meet you, master."
Asukem gives Gimp a stern look, "Please, don't call me that, Gimp." Gimp appears puzzled and asks, "What do you mean, master?" Asukem points at Gimp and firmly states, "I am not your master; you are free." Gimp grins mischievously, teasing Asukem, "But master!" Annoyed, Asukem shouts, "Gimp, enough!" Gimp starts to laugh, eventually calming down and saying, "Alright, alright, I'll stop." Asukem gives him an unamused look, replying, "Good to hear."
Asukem's mind was overwhelmed by Gimp's words, and he was curious to know what he had done to cause trouble. So, he politely asked, "Gimp, I remember giving you time, but you mentioned that you might have caused me trouble?" Gimp appeared worried and took a deep breath before flying further away from Asukem and perching on a tree. He confessed, "I was actually keeping an eye on you for Evealeana." Asukem's eyes widened in shock, and a hint of disappointment appeared. However, he quickly reminded himself of his status as a slave and said, "Well, let's leave that in the past, alright?"
Gimp's eyes widened in shock, "You're not upset with me?" Asukem shook his head, "I'm a bit let down, but I can forgive you as long as you don't repeat it." Gimp descended from the tree, declaring, "I swear, I won't do it again; I don't care about what happens to my people or me; I won't betray someone who has treated me with more respect than anyone else; I'll stand by your side until the end, Asukem."
Asukem caught what Gimp said, and he gave him a curious look as he inquired, "What do you mean by 'your people'? Gimp, are they in trouble?" Gimp met Asukem's gaze with a serious yet pained expression and replied, "It's a bit complicated." Asukem turned to Gimp and urged, "If you have something to share or ask, go ahead." Gimp hesitated, eyeing Asukem warily, "How about I give you more background about myself and my people before you offer to assist me." Asukem settled in to listen, while Gimp appeared unsure but began to open up about his situation.
