Kai had an unshakeable, quiet feeling she couldn't be trusted, although maybe he was just being paranoid.

After a while walking (and many branches being flung back into Kai's face accidentally), the four reached a secluded little camp.

Two large shelters made of sticks, logs and tent fabric stood on each side, a large stretch of green fabric hung between them that sheltered a small fire pit and two log seats. Some of the trees behind the camp had been cleared away, making an artificial clearing.

"Oh, Dipper! You'll never guess what I found!" Wammawink suddenly called to one of the tents.

They heard a reluctant groan and the closing of a book, before Wammawink's friend emerged.

What 'Dipper' saw was likely nothing like he expected, judging by the astonished look on his face.

He was rather short, and wore shorts (with expectedly scratched up, bare legs), an orange shirt and a worn, navy blue gilet jacket. He donned a blue and white cap with a blue embroidered pine tree, messy brown hair underneath. He had a red and gold book under one arm, probably the one Kai heard closing.

"Other people!?" He said, surprised and amazed. "Wh- where did you find them?"

"Just over at the capybara place!" Wammawink replied.

"This is Marcy, that's Kai and that's Lapras," She said, gesturing to all three respectively.

"And that's Dipper over there!" She said before Dipper could introduce himself.

As they began to mingle and get to know eachother, the two boys noticed something at the same time.

A dark grey envelope with a name in silver ink.

They both approached it simultaneously and thus both noticed that the other noticed.

They both stood there awkwardly for a small while, not exactly knowing what to say.

"Should I open it?" Kai asked, breaking the silence.

"Well I mean, it is addressed to you..." He replied.

Kai nodded and looked behind him.

The coast was clear; Wammawink and Marcy were both petting Lapras and talking about how cute they were.

He opened the envelope.
