The game had begun, each person was allowed a breastplate, a helmet and a weapon of their choice. Calypso, Leo, Annabeth and Percy were on the same team as well as Percy’s cyclops brother Tyson and the Athena, Apollo and Hermes cabin’ and on the opposing team was the Ares, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Demeter and Dionysus cabin’. The team in the lead was Calypso, Leo, Annabeth and Percy’s team, they had gotten past the middle rank and were now in the opposing teams territory. Calypso’ job was to distract them so she bolted into the opposing teams territory and the opposing team chased her leaving only the Aphrodite cabin to look in the mirror and tend to their hair. Leo’s job was to run and distract the Aphrodite cabin and walk off with them on his arms trying to look pleased as he did it. Annabeth’s job was to make sure no other of the opposing teams left anyone except the Aphrodite cabin. And finally Percy’s job was to get the flag. Everyone else had to look after their flag.
THEY HAD DONE IT!!!!!!
Calypso’ team had won! They didn’t have to wash the dishes for the next month (if there was ever a tie then Dionysus had to wash the dishes) Calypso and Leo embraced each other passionately. Now, it was time to go back to the cabin for bed, Calypso graciously took Eros from Chiron and thanked him warmly. On the way back to the cabin Calypso sang softly to Eros to get him ready to rest. When suddenly, one of Ares' kids threw something at Leo and it broke at Leo’s feet. Then, one of Hermes' kids started crying, Leo picked up the broken pieces and asked the child what it was.
‘I-i-it w-was a m-m-music b-b-box f-from m-my m-m-mummy!’ wailed the child who looked around the age of 6.
Leo was quick to imagine the music box in his head and was even quicker to ask the Hephaestus kids for tools, one or two of them said it was impossible to fix it but 10 minutes later the child was very happy listening to the music box Leo had fixed. When suddenly, the symbol of a red, fiery hammer appeared above Leo’s head- He was a son of Hephaestus.
‘Well done Leo, and Calypso I know you got claimed as a daughter of Apollo,’ Chiron said ‘but where is Eros?’ Chiron shook his head.
Calypso asked ‘Could he sleep with me for the time being?’
Chiron nodded cautiously ‘I suppose so for now.’ he said.
Please comment and subscribe! I really need the support. You see my mum's dad recently died and it has been very hard and his funeral is next week, I made this story all by myself with help from my teachers at Christmas. I am really scared that my second job when I am older won't work out and I won't be able to be both a vet and a writer, please offer support if you can! Thank you all for reading and sorry if I am being sentimental!
