Oscar has his head down but he can sense his mother glares at him like she was looking at the most disgusting thing in the world. The numerous slaps he has just received are still hurting. He can easily guess the scared expression of his father. At moment like that, Oscar can't help but pitying him.

"To think that he is in love with this woman!" he thought

Mrs Walter sits up in her luxury chair and raise her voice.

"Look at me!"

Oscar slowly directs his gaze towards her. Nothing but anger is visible on his face.
