The Twenty Devas (renowned Dharma-protecting deities in Buddhism, tasked with punishing evil and protecting the good):

 

Sun Deva (also known as Sun Palace Lord), Great Brahma, Much Hearing, Vajra Secret Trace, Hariti;

Moon Deva (also known as Moon Palace Lord), Indra, Dhritarashtra, Great Freedom, Marici;

Great Eloquence, Great Virtue, Increasing, Chandana, Vasuki Dragon King;

The Underworld (Among the Three Realms of Heaven, Earth, and Humanity, it belongs to the earthly realm, serving as the domain of the deceased, governed by the King of Hell, overseeing the lives of all beings.):

 

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva (vowed to save all beings of the six realms from suffering until he attains Buddhahood.)

North Yin, Emperor FengDu (the ruler of the underworld, the highest deity of the netherworld, overseeing all spirits of the dead.)

Five Directional Ghost Emperors:

Eastern Ghost Emperor, Cai Yulei and Shentu, governing the Ghost Gate at Peach Stop Mountain;

Western Ghost Emperor, Zhao Wenhe, and King Zhenren, governing Bozhong Mountain;

Northern Ghost Emperor, Zhang Heng and Yang Yun, governing Luo Feng Mountain;

Southern Ghost Emperor, Du Ziren, governing Luofu Mountain;

Central Ghost Emperor, Zhou Qi and Ji Kang, governing Baodu Mountain.

Luo Feng Six Heavens (names of palaces, each governed by a guardian deity):

Zhou Jue Yin Heavenly Palace, Tai Sha Liang Shi Zong Heavenly Palace, Ming Chen Nai Fan Wu Cheng Heavenly Palace, Tian Zhao Zui Qi Heavenly Palace, Zong Ling Qi Fei Heavenly Palace, Gan Si Lian Wan Lv Heavenly Palace.

Ten Kings of Hell (the Underworld is controlled by the Ten Kings of Hell):

King Qin Guang, governing the destiny of human life and death, stationed in the Black Path of Yellow Springs to the west.

King Chu Jiang, in charge of the bottom of the sea to the south.

King Song Di, overseeing the bottom of the sea to the southeast.

King Wu Guan, managing the hell at the bottom of the sea to the east.

King Yan Luo, ruling the hell at the bottom of the sea to the northeast. (Considered the ruler of hell, managing the cycle of reincarnation.)

King Bian Cheng, overseeing the hell at the bottom of the sea to the north.

King Tai Shan, managing the hell at the bottom of the sea to the due north.

King Du Shi, in charge of the hell at the bottom of the sea to the west.

King Ping Deng, overseeing the hell at the bottom of the sea to the southwest.

King Zhuan Lun, stationed outside the netherworld to the east, facing the world of Five Turbidities.

Subordinates of the Ten Kings include:

Chief Judge Cui Fujun (judges the virtues and sins of a person's life)

Zhong Kui (the deity of exorcising ghosts and bestowing blessings, tasked with capturing evil spirits. Often displayed in Chinese households to ward off evil and disasters)

The Black and White Guardians (messengers tasked with capturing souls, assisting in rewarding the good and punishing the evil)

Ox-Head and Horse-Face (officers patrolling and capturing fleeing sinners)

Meng Po Goddess (resides by the Bridge of Forgetfulness, offering Meng Po Soup to all souls heading for reincarnation to erase their memories.)

 

Other Powers

 

Bodhi Patriarch,Patriarch Subhuti  (resides in the Slanting Moon and Three Stars Cave on Mount Lingtai in the Fangcun region of the Western Blissful Land, isolated from other deities. Neither strictly a Buddhist nor a Taoist, he represents the unity of the three teachings and is knowledgeable in a wide array of doctrines.)

 

National Teacher Wang Bodhisattva (of the Great Holy Nation in Xuyi Mountain, Bilin City, Southern Jambudvipa, with disciples including Prince Little Zhang and four great divine generals. Once subdued the Great Saint Water Ape.)
