The people of Woe were all set to rejoice in Asukem's triumph. However, as soon as they caught Asukem's deteriorating health, they immediately stopped the festivities to attend to him. Sadly, Asukem's condition worsened rapidly within minutes. The village doctor delivered the grim news to Grant and Gimp, confessing, "I'm at a loss for words, but his condition is rapidly declining. It's a miracle he's still alive."

Gimp was in a state of panic, tears streaming down his face, as he posed the crucial question, "Is there anything we can do to help him?" The doctor's expression turned grave as he stroked his chin and responded, "Asukem requires extensive magical healing, which I cannot provide. However, a village is nearby, although they are not known for their hospitality towards outsiders." Gimp's panic intensified as he exclaimed, "Well, why are we wasting time? Let's go!" The doctor shook his head, snapping back, "We can't. If we attempt to move him, he won't survive!" Worry etched across Gimp's face, leaving him unsure of what steps to take next.

Grant was in disbelief at what he was hearing, and he finally said, "Do we really treat people who put their lives on the line to help us like this?" Gimp's tears intensified as he pleaded, "Please, we have to do something; he's my only friend!"

Grant, still seething with anger, continued his rant, "I can't just stand here and let someone risk their life, only for their friend to witness their own demise! Let's grab a wagon and gather all the first aid supplies; we're taking him to the village. We have to take this chance!" He started loading the wagon and turned to Gimp, saying, "By the way, Gimp, Asukem is not your only friend; you have me. I promise we'll find a way to save him!" Gimp looked worriedly at Grant and exclaimed, "But he needs magical healing. I don't think first aid will be enough to bring down his fever."

The doctor glanced at Grant and his determination to save a life. His face fell in disappointment; knowing the issue, he shared his knowledge, "Grant, Asukem has been poisoned; moving him will only make it worse." Gimp's ears perked up as the doctor explained Asukem's condition, prompting him to ask, "Can we slow down the poison somehow?"

The doctor gazes at them with worry and curiosity, questioning, "So, who possesses that extraordinary power?" The doctor turns his attention towards Gimp, covering his face with his palm, and exclaims, "Oh, I completely forgot that you possess magic, Gimp!" Gimp grins and conjures shimmering white symbols around his wrists, placing his hands on Asukem's chest and declaring, "Slowing Toxins!" Gimp winces in agony as his spell begins to take its toll.

The folks from Woe hauled Asukem onto the wagon and set off on their Journey. Grant and Gimp were joined by the doctor and a couple of other villagers. They ensured Asukem's fever didn't spiral out of hand by placing damp cloths on his forehead.

They journeyed for three solid days to prevent Asukem's health from spiraling. Eventually, they stumbled upon the campsite, but as the doctor had warned them, a specific individual named Leo Coveringrock from the Tribal Folk refused to allow them to attend Asukem.

Leo Coveringrock was covered entirely in fur, but his fur had a tan hue. His hair and beard were long and unkempt, resembling the color of tan, which gave him the appearance of having a majestic mane. His ears looked like those of a puma, and his eyes were cat-like, shining in a vibrant yellow hue. Leo's mouth curved upwards towards his nose, which had a distinctly human shape. Although his hands resembled a human's, he had sharp cat-like claws. His tail, resembling that of a cat, had a patch of fur at the end. Leo had a muscular physique, making him look like he was in his twenties. He wore a leather shoulder pad securely fastened to his belt on his left side. The strap showcased a holster for his axe on his back. To protect his hips during battles, he wore leather armor. Additionally, he had leather pants, bracers, and ankle armor, all made from the same material and adorned with a native style.

Gimp pleads with Leo to help his friend, but Leo is too proud and stubborn, and he starts to become aggressive. Despite the argument, the camp chieftain comes to see what's happening. Gimp then asks the chieftain to assist Asukem. Seeing Asukem's state, the chieftain hits Leo on the head, gives him a disappointed look, and tells Grant and Gimp to bring Asukem into the tent for treatment.

The chieftain had flowing white hair and a long white beard, giving him the appearance of a majestic mane. Similar to Leo, the chieftain was clad in white fur, but his markings resembled those of a leopard. He sported a headband adorned with feathers and beads, and his hair cascaded over his cheeks, intricately braided with native decorations. The chieftain's ears resembled a puma's, and his yellow eyes had a feline allure. His mouth curved toward his human-like nose, and a leopard-like spotted tail swayed behind him. His chest remained bare except for a necklace embellished with a pouch of herbs. The chieftain wore leather bracers with dangling beads, and his legs were covered by a kilt made of cloth and hide. To support his ancient tribal stature, he leaned on a staff adorned with feathers, beads, and herbs, which aided him in walking when needed.

The chieftain observed Asukem's state closely as he addressed Grant and Gimp, "You're all lucky; this poor lad is teetering on the edge of death, we must act fast to bring down his fever, or he won't see another daybreak." Gimp's face showed concern, tears pooling in his eyes, "What's happening to him?" the chieftain looked at them seriously and explained, "he's been poisoned by a powerful and deadly toxin called Death ivy."

Grant was deep in contemplation when the chieftain, with a concerned expression, inquired, "How did you manage to expose him to that toxin?" Grant suddenly looked up and exclaimed, "It was the incense!" Gimp's worried look quickly transformed into anger as he responded, "Those cursed Cultists! I should have dealt with him more severely!" The chieftain gazed at them anxiously and asked, "You confronted someone who possessed that poison?" Gimp's face beamed with pride as he declared, "Yes, I did!"

The chieftain's eyes widened in surprise, exclaiming, "You must be lucky or incredibly fast to not get infected! But don't worry, I'll treat you too." Gimp looked at the chieftain with confusion, but then Grant spoke up, saying, "You might have to treat me as well. I was exposed to it, too." The chieftain nodded in agreement, but Gimp insisted, "Alright, but Asukem should be treated first!" The chieftain smiled, appreciating Gimp's concern for his friend, and replied, "Sure, little one, but I can treat all of you together. My healing is spiritual." With that, the chieftain began burning dry sage and some bark containing an orange paste. He started reciting a prayer to the spirits.
