These actions have earned the nobles a notorious reputation, striking fear into the hearts of many.

Even though the nobles' deeds were questionable, they managed to gain favor from The Great Horrors, the demons of the voided realm. The nobles avoided being tainted by the Sin kin curse by striking deals with these demons to offer souls. Thus, they played a crucial role in spreading corruption in the world of Rikros while safeguarding their souls from transforming into Sin kin, for the most part.

The families of many nobles adhere to a code of honor and respect for the Great Horrors. They praise and worship them to gain power, money, love, and respect. Still, in return, they must sacrifice souls to the wicked demons, whether it was someone else's or even their own family members.

Over time, the noble families transformed into tyrants, leading the Great Divines to completely disregard them. Although the people feared and despised the nobles, they lacked the means and influence to put an end to their actions. Consequently, the noble families began behaving as if they were exempt from the law.

Yet, some defy the noble's intimidating attempts even though they require additional funds and support. These individuals concealed their deeds from the nobility as if they were caught disobeying the noble's regulations and customs. It ended in a public display of deadly punishment.

One person wasn't affected by this. This one person was of noble blood, but he couldn't stomach the act of his kind acting so cowardly. This one person is Balzamir Smith from the Smith noble family. Despite his family's crimes, he fought against them and other noble families, causing him to be an outcast and a traitor.

Balzamir Smith, a 20-year-old fugitive, is currently on the run. His fair and pale complexion, untidy ginger hair, ginger goatee, and captivating hazel-green eyes quickly catch everyone's attention. He dons a striking ensemble consisting of an elegant crimson suit, red trousers, sleek black dress shoes, pristine white gloves, a scarlet top hat adorned with a black band, and a white Oprah mask embellished with golden lace, cleverly concealing the burn mark on the right side of his face.

Balzamir Smith was furious, burning with anger, and he decided he wouldn't disregard people like the Great Divines did. He willingly took on the Beacon of Hope role and was determined to end his kind's actions, no matter what it took. Nevertheless, his journey started in the past when he was just a child, riding swiftly in a wagon with his family.
