labyrinth of fools and lies. When it comes to the world, I would love to believe it is a peaceful

place, free of mentioned harm and threats. The last thing is flowers, I myself have not truly been

one to discuss flowers, before now my point of interest was my friends and my guitar. But the

flower law. That changed us all, not just my friends, but everyone.

To sum this up, Ichika Hoshino have been given a flower to care for. To put it simply, the flower

is like a little child to us. If your flower dies or withers, you too shall do the same. I had been

given a lily of the valley (such I had never seen or heard of before the law.) What I am fond of is

the glistening white of its petals, and the meaning is to measure the purity and soul of its owner.

Personally, my purity is not one to be measured by a humble flower, it should be judged by my

friends. Who I shall discuss next.

“Ichi! My flower arrived today! It's sooooo cute!”

Saki always had been the energetic one, but alas we all love her for it. To match her personality

I was purely expecting a crazy and newly invented flower. Or one she’d made up on the spot…

“Ah, really? What did you get?”

I attempted to be as humble as possible, because in all honesty, she could come out with

anything.

“I got this super cute sakura!”

That same sakura she holds up to my face, thankfully for her and myself I'm not allergic to

pollen.

“Where's Hona and Shi? I wanna see their flowers too!”

She beams in my face.

“Ever the positive energy Saki”

I laugh, also pondering the whereabouts of my other friends.

“Ah, Saki. Ichika. I was given this agapanthus!”

Honami’s smile shone through Saki’s positivity. Not for long however, as she gazed in awe at

Honami’s flower.

“WOAH! Hona it's so pretty and purple!”

Honami just chuckles at Saki’s overbearingness. To our surprise we find Shiho dropping along.

“Oh heya guys, I got given this hellebore”

Shiho keeps her distance from us, as per usual, but it's most likely to avoid an amusing contact

with Saki.

“Oooh! Shi. This really does remind me of you! This new law is awesome!”

I wouldn’t agree with that…

“Saki, looking after a plant can be tedious. Are you sure you can manage?”

Honami ponders, to be honest, I was thinking the same. I do worry about Shiho and Saki taking

care of plants, for polar opposite reasons.

“I’m sure she’ll be fine, and besides it’s only a plant. What's the worst that could happen?”

I had to say something, but I mustn’t scare my friends. But… they need to know.

“The law states if your plant dies..”

I sigh, knowing their exact reaction

“You would perish alongside it.”

The girls’ faces darken. Shiho moves a few inches away, like it was my fault!

“Oh gosh… Hona I don’t wanna die!”

Honami instantly comforted Saki. Yet something inside of me knows this isn’t the last time this

law will haunt us.
