[Welcome tidings, Dear Reader!
My name is Charlemagne Freighmann, and I am a historian from The University of Oxtrava. Roughly a fortnight ago, in an excursion through the Dead Nation of Vistaria, I and my troupe came across the old ruins of The Demon Lord. A half a millennia-old ruin, that many have tried, yet failed to excavate in the past 2 centuries or so.
Now, in said ruin, I came across an old tome of sorts, which this will serve as a transcript of. It is written in the Old Tongue, which is rarely read these days, thus I shall serve as a translator besides.
My attempt here is to not only provide this as a potential research paper to The University but also publish it as a historic text to the Scholarly inclined par of the public!
That is why I make an authentic promise to stick as close to the original texts as possible. So join me, and let us discover the history behind The Demon Lord, shall we?
At least I believe this to be a diary of sorts...]
