To explain myself properly, I (Ryll.Memoirs) have decided to participate in a little something among Tapas creators to celebrate April Fools.

This involves changing our cover pages with fellow writers/artists to spread our stories among readers (like yourself) and encourage you to read and even indulge in the works of other diligent creators involved in this collab.

To commemorate this event, I have decided to publish two episodes after this to go along with the collab!

What if one day, you suddenly found yourself delivered from reality? To find the society you've grown accustomed to and struggled for all vanishes on a whim.

After losing two tireless years devoid of pleasure and unwavering rigidness— akin to mindless servitude— this is the dilemma Malware faces deprived of her one true desire in life, success. After waking up inside the bizarre world of EDEN reminiscent of her past, videogames. Having similar mechanics which she used to find happiness then but deeply despised now— being nothing more than senseless distractions to her.

Only a handful remain, in the ruins of the city she used to know. Abandoned for decades— centuries even, ruled by sentient war machines while the ever-whirling vortex of a storm never seen before threatens to close in on her.

Yet, Malware refuses to believe this all— nothing here was real, EDEN isn't real. Just like those petulant video games, there had to be a way back to the real world. But, could she find that exit and return in time to chase after her greatest desire or could it be closer in sight, somewhere she least expects?
