~The day progressed as usual, from History to Physics, to Mathematics. Until finally, homeroom came around for the third and final time for the day~

Huggins: *turning to face the class, she made a gesture from the students to the door* “Today, we have a treat for all of you, two transfer students will be joining us for the rest of the school year. One being from S-Class, the other from the Support Course. Please give a warm welcome to Kyoge Zamura and Mikate Adams. ”

~the class clapped, not whole heartedly, but clapped nonetheless~

Kai: *he sat up, confused.* “Eh?” *He focused on Kyoge, “Isn’t that the guy I met earlier?” he thought.*

Huggins: “Boys, please introduce yourselves while I find a place for you to sit”

Mikate: “Good morning everyone, I hope everyone has had a good year so far but I don't wanna ruin the old vibe for the class I'm gonna go ahead and sit down” *He was held back by the teacher for a moment.*

Kai: *He looked at the other one, “His first name suggests that he’s foreign, I think… His last name fits this region though…” at least that is what he thought. Still though, that boy was acting kind of odd.* 

Huggins: “You’ll be sitting in front of the girl sitting to the right of that boy with the red hair. Kai, raise your hand please”

Kai: *He slowly raised his hand in response* “Right here…”

Kyoge: “Kyoge Zamura. A pleasure to meet you all.”

Huggins: *she pointed to the empty seat in front of Kai, and next to Mikate* “You’ll be sitting next to each other for now, okay?”

Mikate: “That's fine with me.'' *Mikate leaned over toward Kyoge.* “Oh yeah also since we’re going to be like, close buddies and all, if it's hard to say my name you can call me Mika.”

Kai: *he looked over, with a raised eyebrow, then looked back toward the front of the class. He was glad that we had some more people. He was starting to feel lonely.* 

Mikate: *He turned to face Kai* “Psst, hey. Can I ask you a question? *He didn’t give Kai time to answer that before he continued on* “I was in B-Class before they transferred me into A-Class. I don’t really get this whole Ranking System.”

Kai: *He took a second to gather his thoughts before nodding* “The ranking system is, ah, well, I’m pretty sure it’s based on the capabilities of an individual. You have ranks S through D. Each grade has its own hierarchy. *He made a circle with one of his index fingers.* “How it would work is D-Class is always the lowest of a grade while S-Class is the highest. For example, for the freshman grade the highest is S-Class, but D-Class of the Sophomores is higher than them. It’d continue where S-Class of the Sophomores is underneath D-Class of the Juniors. The highest is the S-Class of the Seniors.”

Mikate: “Oooooh. That makes a little bit more sense, I guess.” *He returned to his original position in his seat*

???: *a young girl with amber coloured hair raised her hand* “So, are we going to be doing today's course assignment or….”

Huggins: *She nodded and clapped her hands together* “Thank you for reminding me! Today’s training exercise! Students, if you would, please head down to the Tech Wing to collect your suits, then meet me at the D route Bus-Station.”

~the class got up to collect their suits from the tech wing~

~on the way there…~

Mikate: “Wow my first day and we already are going to fight, this is gonna be fun”.

Kai: *he looked over towards Mikate* “How do you know that we’re gonna be getting a combat assignment? I thought it was going to be something like a mock rescue lesson, y’know since this is the first hands-on lesson of the year and all…” *he trailed off, trying to find a good reasoning* “But then again, S-class is already on their fifth session.”

???: *the same girl from earlier, with red hair, came up behind the two.* “Really? This early into the year? I heard S-Class was ahead, but I didn’t think they were That far ahead-”

Kyoge: *he walked up to the three students, hands in pockets* “Yo, long time no see eh?”

Kai: *he turned to face Kyoge* “Not necessarily-” *he thought for a moment before turning on his heels, walking backwards to face him completely* “How come you switched from S-class to A?”

???: *she quickly cut in* “I heard it was because he made a bet with one of the students in his class that Class A was incredibly inferior compared to Class S.” *She wasn’t trying to antagonize, but that was literally what she had heard*

Kai: *he turned quickly from the red haired girl back to Kyoge*  “Uh-”

Kyoge: “Worry not, I have faith in you A ranks… to an extent” *he chuckled quietly to himself, smugly leering over.*

???: “Isn’t that quite rude! Of course we are capable!” *the small girl puffed out her cheeks to make her seem more intimidating*

Mikate: *He looked between the three, then pointed to the red haired girl* “Uh, am I missing something? I don’t know her name…” *He looked at Kai next* “Actually I don’t know your name either?!”

Kai: *He looked at the girl with amber colored hair and shrugged* “With all honesty, I don’t really know your name either…sorry.”

Amy: *The girl paused mid-step, then looked towards the two. Being met with only shakings of the head, she flushed* “Seriously? We don’t sit that far from each other! It’s Amy Rodriguez”

Kai: “Well, Nice to meet you Amy! I’m Kai, Kai Future.” *He stuck out a hand to both Amy and Mikate, hoping for a handshake, fistbump, or something.*

Amy: *she shook his hand, with a large grin on her face* “Dweeb. I already know your name!” *she snickered before turning to face Mikate and Kyoge* “Well, I wish you the best of luck. I’m gonna go on ahead and collect my suit” *she waved before bounding off toward the Tech Wing, humming to herself.*

Mikate: "Well, I don’t have to worry about getting my suit from there, since I made mine and all.” *he turned to face the hallway toward the Bus stations* “I’ll see you all at the station!” *he started walking down the hall*

Kai: *he looked between Mikate and Amy quickly* “Wha- Wait- Ugh…” *he sighed heavily* “Guess it’s just us now.” *he turned to face Kyoge* 

~Kyoge wasn’t there either~

Kai: “Wha- Huh?!” *the boy looked around in pure confusion, not knowing what had just happened.* “Where’d he go-”

~15 minutes later~

Kai: *He stood before the gate entrance to the Tech Wing and stared at it in awe*

~Fully stocked with decorative yet functional gears and other mechanisms. It was massive compared to the students. The hallway had to expand to complement its size. Suddenly, it began to groan, pushing forward before it split into 4 parts, two of them sliding in front of the other two, leaving an opening big enough for 5 tanks to pass through side by side. In that opening stood a stout man wearing goggles.~

???: *he raised his arms into the air, hands flat as though he were holding something* “Welcome students to the Wing of Technological Support! I am the Fullmetal hero, Power-House! Here, we help both Licensed heroes and Heroes-In-Training design their suits. Not just to help them get the most out of their abilities, but also to ensure safety out in the field! Now, if you would stay close to me and don’t cross the lights bordering each side of the hall.” *He turned and started down the hall, labeling random facts about the Tech Wing and what they do besides making suits. One of which was that the students had a dorm system here. It allowed them to collaborate and have more access to resources during projects.*

~the students followed, ooh-ing and aah-ing at whatever Power House pointed out to them. Well, most of them at least.~

???: *A boy with long bangs and jet black hair that seemed to sway with each step he took walked up besides Kai.* “I didn’t think the Tech Wing would be this huge, much less this detailed…”

Kai: “Y- Yea, I didn’t think so either. There’s so much, it’d be easy to get lost without even realizing it.” *he turned to face the boy* “I’m Kai, and you are?”

???: “I don’t need an introduction from you” *The boy turned to face him, his amethyst colored eyes looked as though they were practically glowing. He had light skin and freckles. He gave a soft smile* “The name’s Zane Brimhall. You and I were in the same middle school, but you probably wouldn’t remember me.”

Kai: *his eyes practically lit up as he smiled* “Dude! I remember you now! You were on Team Skull, right?”

Zane: *he nodded* “Yea, you and I faced off in both the tournament and in the Rail-Riding contest. You beat me both times sadly…” *he chuckled to himself, remembering fondly*

Kai: “Yea! I remember now! Sorry about that..” *He smiled toward his old rival* “Glad you’re doing okay though-”

Power House: *He stopped suddenly and turned to face the class.* “Alright you, what lies ahead is where you’ll be assigned your very own support mechanic. Now keep in mind that these mechanics are assigned to more than one student in the hero course, and they are students just like you. Be sure to not give them too much of a heartache. Using your ID, you’ll scan in and you’ll be directed toward your mechanics location via haptics. Go forth and Become!” *He turned again and pushed through another set of giant doors revealing that the students were underground. A set of platforms opened up to pathways leading deeper into the Tech Wing* “Have fun, and don’t go past the lights!” *He grabbed onto a pole and zipped down into the darkness*

Zane: *He took a tentative step toward the door* “Well Kai, this looks like where we split ways. I’ll see you sometime.”

Kai: *He gave a confident nod* “Yeah.” *He turned toward the space with a determined look.” “Let’s do our best.”
