Kai: *He walked through the confusing halls of the Tech Wing. He had scanned his badge earlier and had been assigned to a mechanic named Itsuki Yamano. Sounded foreign. The wristwatch he had been given began to vibrate more frequently as he turned around a corner.* “Man, this place is vast. How do people navigate this?”

???: *a girl with dark skin, long dark hair with streaks of cyan appeared behind a metal door* “With a HUD of course!” 

Kai: *he jumped slightly* “A- a what!?!?”

???: “A HUD, Heads-Up-Display. It comes with this set of glasses they assigned to us earlier in the year, helps us get to where we’re going. By the way, do you know a kid named Kai Future? I’m waiting for this guy to get here, but he sure is taking his time....”

Kai: *He looked from the wristwatch up at the girl again* “You’re Itsuki Yamano?”

Itsuki: “In the flesh! Come inside, I have your suit out and ready.”

~The room he had entered was mostly white, with a futuristic blue pulsating throughout changing patterns on the walls. There was a desk to his left, where Itsuki did her work. One wall had a solid split going down the middle, but that was it.~

~After 15 minutes of the two talking about the suit and Kai finally putting it on~

Kai: *He put on the final glove, flexing his fingers after it was fit* “Wow, you guys went above and beyond! All I asked for was a durable suit-”

Itsuki: “Which is TOO BASIC! As mechanics, we get the data on our ‘clients’ to make necessary changes. Your power allows you to compress air and turn it into a superpowered attack that can blow away anything in its path, right?”

Kai: *he nodded* “At least, that’s what I know about it far-”

Itsuki: “Well, first of all, you need something that can help you quickly compress that air, which is the mechanic in your gloves. Then, you need something to help you direct that attack, and even give you output options! Which is also in your gloves!”

Kai: *He tilted his head in pure confusion* “Output options?”

Itsuki: *her eyes practically lit up* “Yea! It allows you to change how much of your power you want to use. If you want a small shot so you can have some air in reserve, you can do that! Or if you want a super powered attack to blow away your enemies, you can do that too! And, if you struggle with aiming, the same mechanism used to charge the air is the same that can also direct it! It’s genius isn’t it!” *She was making hand-gestures and pacing throughout the room.*

Kai: “U- Uhm, that’s cool and all, but I’m not sure if I’d even get the hang of it in time-” *he looked down at his gloves, and flexed his fingers. Then he looked back up the mechanic* “I’d have to practice to get a better understanding of the charge and the release-”

~the wall that had the split going down the middle suddenly began to move. It moved to the sides revealing a large area. A testing ground of sorts, where other students were trying out their new gear as well.~

Itsuki: “Say no more!” 

Kai: *He gave a heavy sigh* “This is going to take a while..”

~At the bus station, most of the class was waiting on one particular student~

Amy: *She was sitting on one of the benches, her helmet resting on her lap. She had a fall colors theme to her suit* “He sure is taking his time, isn’t he?”

Mikate: *He looked over at Amy, and blinked* “You guys took your time too-”

Amy: “That’s because you got here before we could even get into the Tech Wing!” *she huffed*

~At this point, the two were bickering, nipping and pinching each other whenever the other left an opening~

Kenyan: *Standing apart from the group of students, he watched on silently. He looked down at his arm and watched it become encased in a thin layer of frost, before it quickly dissipated.*

Huggins: *she sighed and checked her pocket watch* “If he doesn’t get here within the next 5 minutes, we’ll have to just leave without him-”

Kyoge: *He stood there, checking his phone, soon putting it away* “Don’t worry ma’am, he’ll be here on time….I think.”

Mikate: *He came up next to Kyoge, Amy biting his arm, and blinked* “I think I see him running over there actually-” *He pointed at a figure with red hair, dashing toward them at high speeds.*

Kai: -in the distance- “HANG ON, I’M NOT LATE JUST YET!!” *He sped into the cluster of students, skidding to a stop just before he reached their teacher* “Sorry I took so long ma’am, I was testing out these new gloves-” *He looked down at his hands, and smiled. His suit had a black, red, and a little bit of white as its color scheme. It had a hood that could be pulled up to form a face mask with lenses installed. He had another face mask attached around the neck, so he could pull it up at any time to cover his nose and mouth.* “They really made a lot of adjustments to my suit, took a moment to learn all of the features…”

Huggins: “Well, it looks good!” *she checked off Kai’s name and called for all the students to board the bus* “All right kiddos, it's time to see what you can do!”
