The police entry  competition has ended a week ago. Alex along with his other peers have had a  long week, but today is the day. The day where we see who made the cut and who didn't.

Alex is on his  hoverboard to the rehabilitation center.

Alex arrives

Alex: "I'm  here to see Nina Reto."

Front Desk Worker:  "Proceed"

Alex walks to  Nina's room

Alex: "Hey  mom, how are you"

Alex hides his hand  behind his back

Nina: "I'm  doing good sweetie but tell me how did the competition go? And why is your  hand bandaged"

Alex: "I got  into a fight after the competition"

Nina coughs

Nina: "What  did I say about getting into danger Alex"

Nina coughs even  more

Alex: "Are you  okay?!"

Nina: "I'm  fine, don't worry"

Alex: "Please  don't lie to me to make me feel better"

Nina: "It's  just a little cough, I'm fine. But you Alex please don't get into anymore  danger, I'll support your decision but be careful."

Alex: "I will,  I'll see you later mom I'm going to see if I made the cut or not."

Nina: "Stay  safe honey"

Alex:  "Alright"

Alex hugs his mom  and leaves

*Right after the  police entry competition*

*Phone ringing*

Receptionist:  "No visitors are allowed at this time"

Doctor: "Here,  this is your new medication to deter you from your old addiction. You're  almost to the point where you don't need medication at all."

Nina: "Thank  you, finally I get to see my son at home soon"

Doctor: "Yes,  remember to take 2 a day, one in the morning and one at night."

Nina: "Alright  then, thank you again doctor"

Doctor: "No  problem"

The doctor walks  over to the other patients and gives them the same medication as well.

*Back to Alex*

Alex arrives to Tek  City Police Department on his hoverboard

Ethan:  "Alex!"

Luke: "What's  up Alex"

Alex: "Hey  guys"

Luke: "You  guys ready to see if we made it or not?"

Ethan: "Indeed  I am."

Alex: "Today  is the big day. Also have you guys seen Gale?"

Luke: "Who's  that?"

Ethan: "The  dark skinned girl with purple hair and purple eyes, she's a little taller  than you"

Luke:  "OHHHHHH"

Ethan: "Yeah  you remember now?"

Luke: "Oh no ,  I just remembered that song the "glow guys" made"

Alex: "Alright  ignore him, but if you see her let me know"

Luke: "You got  a little crush or something?"

Luke smirks

Alex looks at him  with a cold stare and walks toward the board to see his name

Ethan: "Wait,  we're going toward the same place!"

Luke: "Yeah  hold on!"

Ethan and Luke  catch up

Charlotte:  "You might see your crush again"

Gale:  "H-h-h-he's not m-m-my crush"

Nisha: "You  don't have to lie, he is kinda cute"

Charlotte:  "Think about the babies, they could have his jet black hair, or his cyan  blue eyes"

Gale's face turns  red

Gale:  "B-B-B-BAB-B-B-BIESS?!?!?!?!?!?!"

Alex, Ethan, and  Luke look at the board

The Board Reads:

"The order of  names mean nothing. Everyone who has made the cut's name has been listed in a  random order"

Alex and Ethan look  at the first one on the board and even though the order doesn't matter, it  didn't make sense.

Ethan: "Wasn't  that my opponent in the fist to fist stage?"

Alex: "It  was."

Ethan: "No  offense to him, but he is not fit for this line of work. He couldn't even make  a fist"

Alex: "Well  it's not important, let's look for our names"

Luke: "I found  mine!"

Ethan: "Oh, I  see mine too"

Ethan: "Alex  look, Gale is under me too. I'll stay here while you look for your name so I  can tell her you're looking for her"

Alex:  "Thanks"

Luke: "Yo  Ethan, UP TOP! WE MADE IT!"

Alex: "Oh  there it is"

Alex: "Yeah,  it's fine don't worry about it"

Alex: "It's  fine, I understand why you did it."

Mariah: "I  didn't make it?"

Mariah Pouts and  walks out

Bryan: "I  didn't make it either, I guess this isn't a surprise, I did leave in the  middle."

Alex walks back

Gale: "I-I-I-I  Made it!"

Charlotte:  "Yes! Now we have to find our names"

Nisha: "I hope  we made it"

Charlotte: "Of  course I did, I don't know about you."

Nisha clenches her  fist

Ethan: "Hello  again , Gale right?"

Gale:  "Y-y-yes, I-I-I-I remember y-y-you"

Ethan: "I  don't think I gave you my name before, but I'm Masamune"

Alex: "Oh  Ethan! Thanks for keeping her here"

Ethan: "Why  me?"

Ethan drops to his  hands and knees

Alex: "Hey  Gale, I have to talk to you"

Gale:  "hm?"

Alex takes out the  paper the hooded man gave him
