Charlotte: "May I ask why I didn't make it?"

Andy: "If I remember correctly, the reasoning was this "Charlotte was very skilled, smart, and a great fighter. But she doesn't work too well when it comes to being on a team and when it comes to working with us you NEED to have great teamwork and that's why every mission requires two officers now." "

Charlotte: "I understand , thank you"

Andy walks away

Gale: "You can still be part of the police, I'll help you fulfill your task. I promise"

Nisha: "Me too, whatever that task is"

Charlotte: "Thank you guys"

Nisha: "Gale, your stutter. It's gone"

Gale: "W-w-w-wwait h-h-huh?!?!?!"

Nisha: "Never mind"

Luke: "I saw you give her your phone"

Ethan: "Looks like someone's in loooooooove"

Alex: "Stop being dumbasses"

Luke: "Alex and Gale sitting in a tree K-I-s-s-I-n-g"

Alex: "I'M NOT IN LOVE"

Ethan: "No need to lie Alex, that's not fitting of a warrior, for that you must commit shippuku"

Alex: "It's "seppuku" "

Ethan: "You're right. I cannot live after such a foolish mistake. For that..."

Alex walks away

Andy on the megaphone: "Everyone! If you've succeeded in becoming a Tek City Police Officer, congrats. If not I commend your attempt. You can try again once we hold our next entry competition. Also if you HAVE become an officer, you will receive an email for a tour and training to get you used to the ropes around here. Otherwise go home and rest because once you start work it's going to be real busy."

Chapter 18

Alex is on his hoverboard after receiving the email from Tek city police department the next day

Alex arrives and sees everyone there

Andy: "Look who decided to show up, you're late"

Alex: "I am? I apologize"

Luke: "Where were you?"

Alex: "I rarely check my email, so I just forgot to check for the update."

Ethan: "You cannot make such mistakes Alex, for that-"

Alex: "No, I'm not committing seppuku"

Andy: "Alright newbies, welcome to Tek City Police Department. Today I will be guiding you through all you need to see and assigning you to your mentors"

Nisha: "Mentors?"

Andy: "Well yes, there's only one of me and we still have missions to go on. You'll all have a senior to learn under so that we can train you and complete missions at the same time. That way you receive training and we get the job done simultaneously."

Nisha: "That makes sense"

Luke: "So what's first?"

Andy: "First, I'm going to tour you around the department, follow me"

Andy walks to the receptionist room

Andy: "This is the receptionist room, this is where everyone receives the calls for us to dispatch, if you need any extra details from the situation being relayed then you can come to one of our receptionists, now follow me to the next room"

Andy: "This is the record room, we have all documented crimes on noted criminals here, and also original crimes that were studied by any of our officers in here too in the back of this room, you'll all be assigned a cabinet as well"

Alex: "So every officer that's ever worked here in the past and present alike has a cabinet here?"

Andy: "Yes, all evidence is valuable so even officers from the past would have case files and evidence from crimes they've studied that would be valuable to us."

Alex: *I wonder if mom and dad's files are still here too then* Alex thinks to himself

Andy: "Now everyone follow me to the operation room, all of the operators that will be navigating you on missions reside in this room."

Andy takes them to the operation room

Charlotte looks up

Charlotte: "Gale! Nisha!"

Gale: "C-c-c-charlotte?!?!"

Nisha: "You're working already?"

Charlotte: "I'm just in training for now, I've been shadowing a couple of the operators for the time being, but I'm navigating around the operation computer for now."

Andy: "Alright , that's enough of the small talk, follow me"

Andy takes them to a room downstairs

Andy: "This is the interrogation room, also meet our interrogator"

All the new recruits look at a tall muscular white man with a thick beard, a bald head, and fierce eyes that make him look angry even though he's not.

???: "My name I-"

All the newbies flinch except for Alex and Luke

??? :"What are you scared for? I'm talking in a normal tone"

Andy: "If normal sounds like a cerberus then sure."

???:"Anyways , my name is Tayko Crekudor, but you can all call me Mr.C. I'm the interrogator"

Ethan: "How come Mr and not officer?"

Tayko: "I'm not an officer anymore"

Alex: "Anymore?"

Tayko: "That's not important, just focus on the tour. I can tell you guys another time."

Andy: "He's right, now let me take you to the fun part"

Andy takes them to another room that's downstairs with a whole bunch of advanced machinery and a table that kind of resembles the anvil tables that were used for blacksmiths

Ethan: "Wait! Is this what I think it is? A blacksmith room?!?!?!"

Tayko: "Damn right it is!"

Everyone jumps

Luke: "Where the hell did you even come from"

Tayko: "I was following you guys the whole time."

Andy: "That's definitely not something I'd want to hear from you"

Tayko: "What you trying to say Andy?"

Andy: "Oh nothing, anyways introduce yourself one more time Tayko"

Tayko whispers "piece of shit" under his breath

Tayko: "Alright guys as you know from like 2 minutes ago, I am the interrogator, BUT I am also Tek City Police Department's Blacksmith. I can create any custom weapon you want"

Ethan: "REALLY?!?!?"

Tayko: "Yes I can, you name it, I build it."

Alex: "You're the only blacksmith?"

Tayko: "I'm the best there is so I'm all you guys need"

Andy: "And all of you guys first task is to request your first weapon, describe it exactly how you want and Tayko will create it."

Everyone seems to be visibly excited but Ethan is EXTREMELY ecstatic
