Asukem's heart pounded as he gazed at the crypt's door, adorned with a chilling inscription that read, "May Isabella find eternal peace." Overwhelmed with dread, he stepped back, his body trembling with fear. He couldn't bear to confront her, pleading desperately, "Please, Ah'keim, spare me! I can't face this, anyone but her!" Ah'keim, determined, urged Asukem forward, reminding him, "You must, Asukem. Don't let the fear of failing your little sister hinder your mission!"
Asukem's hand trembled as he tentatively reached for the door, a wave of dread crashing over him. His heart pounded, threatening to burst from his chest, and a lump formed in his throat. Despite his initial hesitation, he summoned the courage to speak, his voice quivering: "I have to do this. I never said goodbye properly..." Asukem pushed the door open, the sound of stone grinding against stone filled the crypt. Stepping inside, he was engulfed by a torrent of emotions - pain, regret, and profound sadness - as a spirit passed through him.
Asukem's legs trembled in terror and grew leaden. Upon hearing the enraged voice he knew so well, he crumpled to his knees, "How dare you reveal yourself to me, Big Brother!" Asukem lifted his gaze slowly, tears and fear evident in his eyes, "Issie, I... I am sorry!" Asukem beheld her, Isabella's spirit hovering before him, arms folded and a scowl on her face. She retorted unforgivingly, "You're sorry? Is that all you have to say to me!" In an instant, Isabella's apparition transformed into a malevolent banshee, a haunting figure. Passing through him once more, she sapped his life force while wailing in a spectral voice, "How can you claim to be a Protector when you allowed me to perish!" Asukem prostrated himself in feebleness before his younger sister, begging for absolution, "Issie, please forgive me, I... I was not strong enough..." Ah'keim observed Asukem with worry, shouting, "Damn it, Asukem, Resist it!"
After Ah'keim uttered those words, Isabella's banshee glared fiercely at him and shouted, "Stay out of it!" Out of nowhere, a barrier materialized at the entrance of the crypt. Ah'keim panicked at the sight of the barrier and attempted to push through it, only to be met with a painful shock. He cried out in pain, "Asukem! Resist it! Stagnar is manipulating you!"
However, Asukem found himself engulfed in sorrow and regret. He was on his knees, tears streaming down his face as he apologized repeatedly for failing his little sister. Ah'keim noticed that Asukem was consumed by his fear of failure, although he couldn't understand why. Despite the confusion, Ah'keim felt an overwhelming urge to rescue him and blurted out, "I have no idea why I'm doing this, but..." To everyone's surprise, including Asukem, the banshee, and Ah'keim himself, he pushed himself through the barrier, causing it to overload. The crypt was filled with excruciating pain, snapping Asukem out of his despair. Slowly, Asukem turned towards Ah'keim, who uttered in agony, "Asukem... fight...it...".
Ah'keim was lying on the cold floor of the crypt, his body marked with burn scars. Asukem leaned in closer and whispered, "Ah'keim? Why did you..." The banshee instantly transformed into a harmless spirit, shattering like a fragile piece of glass. Isabella's spirit spoke softly, "Did you see that, big brother Asu-su?" Her voice trembled as she continued, "He is a demon, yet he was willing to protect you!" Asukem turned his gaze towards Isabella's spirit, which floated gently towards him, tears streaming down her face. She held his chin and pleaded, "Please, big brother Asu-su, snap out of it and face your fears."
She began to work the waterworks as she embraced Asukem, burying her face in his chest and cried out of fear, "I can't bear to see you suffer like this, big brother Asu-su!" she whimpered, tears streaming down her face, "I forgive you, I forgive you! Please don't give up; do it for me, big brother Asu-su!" Asukem placed his demonic claw on her head, transforming it into a human hand as he drew her close and hugged her. "Thank you, Issie, you're the greatest little sister anyone could have," he said, a mixture of anger and sadness in his eyes.
Asukem swiftly snatched his katana, spinning around as he snapped out of the daze and deflected Stagnar's talon. Stagnar appeared to be toying with Asukem's feelings and took excessive time to defeat him. As Asukem parried Stagnar's strike, Stagnar exclaimed in astonishment, "What! I can't believe you broke free from that fear-induced trance!"
Asukem slowly looked at Stagnar. Filled with rage, he glared at him and growled, "How dare you bring my little sister into this battle!" Asukem overpowered Stagnar and made a slash onto his talon. Asukem sheathed his sword and got into a battle pose. He stated in anger, "Demonic Sonic Slash!" He then removed his sword from his sheath and formed a powerful sonic slash that formed onto Stagnar, cutting him through. Stagnar crawled away while saying, "This is no longer fun for me!" Asukem approached him and said, "At least we feel the same way now." Asukem then stabbed the deer's skull and then sheathed his sword like a samurai.
