Antonio, the head of the Black Scorpio mafia gang, was once a formidable force in the city's underworld. However, with the rise of the Vipers, his influence waned, and his gang became increasingly marginalized.
The Vipers had become their mortal enemies, and for decades, Antonio and his gang had been striving to regain their former status. In the past, Antonio had clashed with Conan Grey, and now he found himself facing off against Conan's grandson, but he always seemed to come out on the losing end.
Despite being well aware of the identity of the head of the Vipers, Antonio adhered to the unspoken rule of the underground: never reveal the identities of rival factions. After all, each organization had its own sordid history and questionable tactics. Ultimately, their goal was the same: to secure their place at the top of the underground hierarchy.
At that moment, Antonio was indulging in a shower, reveling in the satisfaction of successfully obtaining goods from the Vipers. Once he delivered these goods, he would earn the trust and allegiance of the Northern border, solidifying his position of power.
"Hmph! Hunter you are going to be a sore loser this time"
Lost in the joy, he was abruptly jolted when he felt something thick and warm fall onto his skin. Startled, he opened his eyes and looked up, only to see a stream of crimson-colored water pouring down on him.
"Ahhhhh...."
Antonio's scream echoed through the bathroom, reverberating off the tiled walls.
Hearing their leader's distress, the members of Antonio's gang rushed towards the bathroom, their concern evident on their faces. Without warning, a group of mobsters burst through the door, their expressions a mixture of alarm and confusion as they took in the scene before them.
There stood their boss, naked and drenched in blood-red water.
Antonio, who has been shocked by bloody water just now, turned to see his gang members stare at his naked shelf without blinking.
Antonio: "Ahhhhhhh"
The gang members: "Ahhhhhhh"
Ascending to the terrace with his entourage in tow, Antonio wasted no time in inspecting the water tank. As they lifted the lid, a gruesome sight greeted them: the informant Antonio had planted by Raven's side lay submerged within, his lifeless body leaking blood from a gaping hole in his chest, the crimson liquid mingling with the water in the tank.
Fury boiling within him, Antonio lashed out, kicking the tank in frustration and pulling at his hair in a fit of rage. When he saw his hand a bunch of white hair rested in his palm.
"Hunter!!!!!!"he roared like a mad gorilla.
After handling the aftermath of the informer's demise, Raven retreated to his study within the base, located in the far right corner of the first corridor. Few were permitted entry into this area; only Raven and his most trusted aides were granted access.
Seated behind his desk, Raven delved into the details of the gang's recent dealings, poring over the contents of a file with meticulous attention. His focus was interrupted as the door swung open, and Brandon, one of his most trusted associates, strode into the room.
Leaning casually against the wall, Brandon observed his junior with a discerning gaze. He had once served under Conan Grey before Raven assumed leadership of the Vipers, and his loyalty had remained unwavering.
Raven valued loyalty greatly, and Brandon had not only a trusted ally but also a mentor to him, imparting invaluable knowledge in the arts of combat and strategy.
Seeing the gaze on him, Raven closed the file and questioned him, "What's the matter Brandon?"
"You are more pissed than usual," he replied nonchalantly.
There is a few minutes of silence in the room, "Aiden wants a mother"
Once Raven finished his words, Brandon beamed like a child and urged him, "Hurry and marry, I don't want you to end up as a single dog like your secretary" his face scrunched at the thought of Raven's secretary.
"Says the single dog" Raven sneered.
Rolling his eyes, Brandon shrugged off the jab. "Oh, come on, Raven. I don't have any little ones to raise, and marriage is not my cup of coffee."
Raven's expression turned serious as he addressed the real issue at hand. "The issue isn't just about Aiden wanting a mother, but who he wants."
"Siren Grace? I heard it from Hardin" he simply sold out Hardin.
That blabbermouth, Raven cursed him in his heart.
"Do you need my help with anything?" Brandon offered, ever ready to lend his assistance.
"Not at the moment. I'll let you know if I do," Raven replied, dismissing the offer for now.
