The sun disappeared behind the horizon, leaving darkness in its path. The Tribal folk ignited the bonfire. Chieftain Tiggerson asked the group, "Could you all extend your stay for one more night?" Asukem, Gimp, and Grant exchanged puzzled glances as the chieftain elaborated, "I want you to witness our celebration of victory." Asukem grinned and nodded while Gimp and Grant agreed to stay longer. Chieftain Tiggerson took a puff of his pipe, a smile spreading across his face as he motioned for them to follow him to the bonfire.
The Tribal Folk gathered in a circle around the crackling bonfire. They left a safe distance between themselves and the flames, allowing easy movement around the fire. Among them were Tribal Folk with various musical instruments, such as drums, rattles, and flutes.
To enter the bonfire circle, everyone had to undergo a purification process where Chieftain Tiggerson would cleanse and heal them with a soothing smoke or mist. This cleansing aimed to ward off malevolent spirits that could spoil the celebration. So, one after another, each person, including Asukem and Gimp, had to be purified, despite being surrounded by sinister and negative energies as Sin Kin. Surprisingly, they felt joy and tranquility as they were cleansed and even a sense of honor.
Four women stood by the bonfire, facing a different direction - north, south, east, and west. They wore colorful tribal clothing, preparing for the celebration. Kittienia was among them, looking wholly transformed in her attire. As the Tribal people began playing instruments with a traditional rhythm and triumphant melody, the music gradually shifted to a grateful tune, expressing their appreciation for Asukem, Grant, and Gimp's assistance.
As the native tune played, the four girls began to dance natively. Their steps were elegant and gentle, and they jumped and spun as they danced with the spirits in a calming way. Suddenly one of the girls that were dancing grabbed Gimp; of course, Gimp was happy he was being respected for his actions; he joined in with the girl that pulled him into the dance, trying his best to copy the dance moves. It seemed Gimp was enjoying himself. Another girl grabbed Leo, and Leo started to dance in the rhythm as everyone else in the circle was pulled in; another girl grabbed a random guy and began to dance in rhythm, also to the native tone.
Asukem was lost in his own world, completely absorbed in the mesmerizing flames of the bonfire. However, his trance was interrupted when Kittienia unexpectedly appeared in his line of sight. She knelt, took hold of Asukem's hands, and urged him to join the festivities. Asukem glanced at her briefly and politely declined her offer to dance. Yet, Kittienia's look reminded him of his little sister, Isabella. He couldn't help but notice Kittienia's warm smile as she tilted her head and gestured for him to come and have fun. Asukem's gaze then shifted to Leo, who had a smile on his face. He then turned his attention to Gimp, which caused him to giggle and shake his head. Gimp was joyfully shaking his booty, moving his arms and wings to the beat of the native music, with a blissful smile on his face and his eyes closed, finally finding peace.
Asukem finally surrenders, shouting at Grant. Grant gazes back at him as Asukem hurls his katana in Grant's direction, asking, "Can you hold onto this for me?" Grant skillfully catches the katana and gives a slight nod. Kittienia pulls Asukem towards the circle's center and begins teaching him their traditional dance. While dancing with Kittienia and enjoying himself, Asukem sees the smiling faces of his foster father, Bob, and his little sister, Isabella, watching him and reassuring him that everything is alright.
Once the festivities were done, everyone settled into their designated spots. Leo and Kittienia retreated to their tents while Tiggerson directed Asukem, Gimp, and Grant to their shared tent.
In the morning, Leo and the rest of the group woke up. Leo was bidding farewell to the villagers while Kittienia, K'witkwaka, or Nightclaw were preparing to leave. Asukem, Grant, and Gimp were getting ready to depart when they noticed Tiggerson having a conversation with Leo and Kittienia. Tiggerson asked them, "Leo, Kittienia, why are you guys doing this?" Leo responded, "Chieftain, please understand, I need to go. I need to be a better friend to him." Kittienia added, "Chieftain, he saved my panther; I must repay him. Please don't stop us. We are leaving whether you like it or not." Tiggerson then saw Asukem and walked over with a displeased expression.
Tiggerson prodded Asukem in the chest with his staff and questioned, "Can you handle looking after these two? You won't disappoint me, right, Asukem?" Asukem placed his hand on his chest, solemnly declaring, "I give you my word, Chieftain Tiggerson Flowingmist; I, Asukem Seikage, vow to defend the Coveringrock Siblings with all I have, just as they would do for me, like my other companions." Tiggerson sighed resignedly, muttering, "I suppose I have no other option." Tiggerson embraced Leo and Kittienia tightly as tears streamed down his face, pleading, "Please return safely." Kittienia started to cry while Leo tried to hold back his tears, insisting, "I won't shed a tear; it's a sign of weakness." Yet, Leo's eyes were already welling up. Kittienia assured him, "We promise, chieftain, we'll return and share our adventures with you and the spirits."
Asukem, an 18-year-old orphan from Rikros, is transformed into a sinkin by an evil demon who wields power to torment souls with her lust. Ah'keim, a powerful being with a mysterious ulterior motive, mentors him as he struggles to regain his humanity and undo the damage caused by the female demon. With the help of new friends who try to help him escape his fate as a sinkin, Asukem sets out to fight the void and gain control over his powers, all while seeking redemption for his past sins.
