~The students were all given little notecards and wrote the names of the people they voted for and then folded them in half. As the ballots were collected, hushed murmurs circulated through the class.~ 

Charlotte: *She silently hyped herself up* “The class will most definitely pick me to be their representative! I mean, it is only natural-” *She was struck by another flying eraser* “O- Ow?!?! Again!?!” *She turned around to face Amy, who only shrugged and gave a sly smile in response* 

Amy: “I mean, you’d get votes…” *She rolled her eyes after looking her up and down.* “Yeah, that part is obvious. The first thing you did when you got up there was flaunt your huge-” *She was abruptly cut off*

Kyoge: *He quickly cut into the conversation* “Okay, she used her ‘charms’ to persuade a good majority of the class. You don’t need to specify that though. I wouldn’t be so focused on poking fun at her, especially after seeing red-hair’s speech, and how the class stirred particularly off of his speech rather than the argument at the end, I’d say he got some solid points in.”

Mikate: *His head loomed over Kyoge’s shoulder* “Hey, what about me? Did you think I did good?”

Kyoge: *He snickered* “Yours was incredibly good, it definitely topped my speech-” *He too, was struck by an eraser. How many did this fiend have?”

Amy: “Oh don’t be such a sour puss. It’s not like you are destined for eternal greatness and this is hindering your progress. Wouldn’t you agree, Kai?” *She turned to face their friend, only to see him covering his face with his hands and muttering something incredibly fast* “Uh, dude-”

Kai: *He continued to mutter* “I mean I don’t think I’ll even stand a chance of becoming class representative, especially considering how badly it ended. Even if I do get voted in, am I even qualified for the job? What if I turn the class into a laughing stock? Why did I even go up there and start talking? Don’t worry about making the class look like a fool, I made myself look like a fool among my own peers!”

Amy: *she frowned* “Uh dude, it isn’t that serious-”

Kai: *He perked up with a sharp inhale of air and a bright smile.* “I got this!”

Kyoge, Amy, and Mikate: *They looked at each other and shared a single thought, “He doesn’t got this.”*

Kai: *He slightly shivered* “I feel like I’m being judged somewhere, by multiple people.”

Kyoge: “What, you got a sixth sense now?”

Huggins: *She clapped her hands, bringing the class to an abrupt hush* “The results… are in…” *She wobbled to the center of the front of the class* “So much counting, I need a coffee. Alright, we’ll start with the coffee President- I mean Vice President. With 9 votes, Coffee- I mean Charlotte Adele was chosen by you students. Please come to the front.” *She had to shake off her exhaustion* 

Charlotte: *She stood, and proudly walked to the front of the room* “Aha! I am- Wait, if I got second, who could possibly get first?”

Huggins: *She scratched the back of her head as she stared at her clipboard* “With all honesty, I could see how he got his votes, sort of. The only guy to make a proper speech, even if it did end in a squabble among other students. It was still strong enough to make them react. Kai, if you would be so kind as to join us as our Class President.”

Kai: *At that moment, he regretted even introducing himself in the first place. He walked up to the front of the class, and life seemed to have drained out of him.*

Tyson: “AHA! A TRUE RIVAL INDEED! FIGHT ME IN MORTAL COMBAT!” *He stood on his desk and pointed directly at Kai, startling the poor, poor boy.*

Kurellion: ”Ugh. What a display of savagery… such vulgar actions will not be accepted in society.”

Akuna: “There are many personalities in this school, get used to them.”

Huggins: “Well, I’ll put in the forms tomorrow. That’s all for today. If you guys have anything you’d like to do around that involves leaving this classroom, please let me know. Last thing I need is the principal scolding me for letting you guys run amok.” *She stumbled over to her seat and slumped, starting on multiple sheets of paperwork simultaneously.*

Kai: *He walked over to the teacher’s desk* “Well, I’d like to stop by the Tech-Wing for Suit modifications.”

Harper: *He quickly stood up, his arm in the air.* “I’d like to accompany him ma’am!”

Mikate: “I'm ready to go when you guys are” *Mikate turned to look at Kai* “Right best friend?”

Kai: *He silently facepalmed himself* “Don’t say it like that…”

Akuna: ”I would also like to obtain suit enhancements.”

Huggins: *She wrote them passes with a single flick of the wrist, then waved them off* “Be back before school ends alright?”

~On the way to the Tech Wing~

Kai: “Man, I was half expecting to not get voted at all… Considering what happened at the end.” *He sighed* “I just got up there and started talking with all honesty.”

Harper: *He pushed his glasses up and smiled* “Well, either way, you won the hearts of our classmates fair and square. Wouldn’t you boys both agree?”

Mikate: “Totally! But I mean, I think I am more fit for the job!”

Akuna: ”I apologize for any disturbances Kurellion has caused you, I hope you forgive the fool’s blunders.” *he bows down on his hands and knees.*

Kai: *He waved his arms around frantically* “Y- you don’t have to go that far!”

~A loud crash and boom came from the other side of the entrance to the Tech-Wing~

Akuna:”?! That sound came from over there!” *he pointed to the origin, plumes of smoke emerge from the broken door*

~The students rushed through, only to find parts of the Tech Wing with small fires, a robotic dog on a rampage, and students holding various metal objects in an offensive manner, positioned sporadically around the dog.~

Mikate: “Oh cool! A robot dog! That must've taken some time to make.”

Kai: *He looked around, confused. Upon spotting the robotic dog, he instinctively charged All Star. Pulling his arm back, he carefully aimed his punch towards the dog.*

Harper: *His arm was suddenly in front of Kai, stopping him.* “Don’t do it, if he moves out of the way, you’ll hit one of the students.”

Akuna:”If we plan, then maybe we can take it out with minimal injuries. Maybe I can hold him down so Future can take him out with that All-Star of his .” *He powered up, Thick lines that shone colored deep red appeared on his arms and neck.* “I’ll be able to take the hit, dont worry about me.” *He smirked, rushing over and tackling the dog and wrestling with it for a good while to keep it stationary.*

Akuna: “His weak spot…! It's His underside. take the shot, NOW!”

Kai: *He pointed at Akuna* “I can’t! You’re in the way, you’ll get blown all the way to the surface!”

Harper: “He does have a point, without those gloves of his, he can’t properly aim nor limit how much he wants to use at once. Remember from the training session?”

Akuna: ”Just do it! I'll be okay! 

Kai: “Alright, if you say so!” *He thrust his arm forward, releasing the compressed blast of air facing the two.*

~BWOOM An uncontrollable burst of air sent the dog flying in pieces, however, Akuna wasn’t anywhere near the impact.~

Harper: *Steam was coming off of his skin and his partially torn uniform as he knelt before all the bystanders, Akuna included, in a tight group off towards the side.* “I try to stop myself from going near the speed of sound instantly, it's too much for my body to handle.” *He let out a heavy sigh* “That was close, is everybody okay?”

Mikate: *He looked from the broken robot dog to the kneeling Harper* “Dude, how did you move that fast?”

Kai: *He jogged over to Harper and the relieved group of Students.* “How’d you do that!?”

Harper: *He stood up and cleaned his glasses* “I used my Technique Jet. I can move at the speeds of a Jet without having too much of a burden on my body. Of course I do have to prime it before I can use it, or else there is a backlash.”

Akuna: “Would that be why you stopped Kai from using All Star? To buy you enough time?”

Harper: *He nodded* “Well, sort of. I was primarily concerned about you and the bystanders.”

Akuna:”I was fine, but I do thank you for moving me out of the way-”

Power House: “DAMMIT, COPPER. HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU TO KEEP YOUR INVENTIONS IN THE TESTING BAY!?!?” *He stormed over to the cluster of students*

Copper: *A midget boy, with rustic orange hair, matching eyes, and dark skin clung onto Kai’s shirt.* “Psst- Down here!”

Kai: “!” *He looked down and blinked* “E- eh? C- Can I help you?”

Copper: “Yeah, hide me from the angry metal guy over there!” *He pointed to Power House, as he stomped closer and closer* “P- Please?”

Kai: “Uh, I don’t think I can, he sees you already so it’d be useless to try anyways…” *He gave a nervous smile, he just wanted to get out the way of the storming metal guy.*

Power House: *He snatched up Copper and held him by the hair, pulling him away from Kai before letting go.* “You can’t keep making dangerous inventions like this! Especially if they have the capability of escaping one of the most secure parts of the Tech-Wing…” *He gestured to the damage around them*

~Students were cleaning up the mess the robot meaning, putting out the fires, and a majority of them were already repairing what they could~

Power House: “It almost destroyed the HUB!!” *He sighed and shook his head* “You’re lucky I was in a good mood today. I’ll give you a warning for now, next time I’m temporarily revoking your access to the Labs, got it?”

Copper: *He solemnly nodded* “Y- yes sir…”

Power House: “Good, now if you would go help out your classmates, I have to go file a report to the Principal as to what happened here… It’s gonna be a long night…”

Copper: *He glared at Kai as harsh as he could before he turned and walked away, dragging his feet* 

Kai: *He looked at the teacher, tapping him on the shoulder, gaining his attention* “Uh, sir? Is there anything we can do to help?”

Power House: *He turned around and looked at Kai* “Eh? Oh no. You’d just offend the Mechanics here. They take pride in being able to solve problems like this on their own. You’ve helped enough anyways. You guys can go on your merry way now.” *He turned and walked away*

Kai: *He turned and walked to his fellow classmates* “We should probably go now, the Mechanics won’t give us a high five or praise if we try to help them…” *He pointed a thumb at the students cleaning the mess* 

Harper: “A bit too late? Akuna and Mikate learned that the hard way-” 

Akuna & Mikate: *They sat on a few crates nearby, they seemed depressed* 

Kai: “Y- Yikes…”

~30 minutes later, as the final bell rung, signaling the end of the school day.~

Kai: *He walked over to the teacher’s desk as Huggins began to pack up her things* “Uhm, excuse me? Could I talk to you Ms. Huggins?”

Huggins: *She whimpered internally, exhausted, and turned to face Kai* “Y- yes dear?”

Kai: “You haven’t submitted the student body form yet, have you?”

Huggins: *She tilted her head* “I was going to turn it in before I left, why?”

Kai: “Well, I’d like to hand over the title to Harper.” 

Huggins: *She choked on the air for a second. When she gained control of her breathing she looked at Kai with pure confusion in her eyes* “Wh- why!? Students would practically kill for this position!”

Kai: *He had this determined look in his eyes* “I know, but I found someone more qualified. During our trip to the Tech-Wing, he showed qualities that a true leader has. And I believe wholeheartedly that he’s the most capable student in our class!”

Huggins: *She was taken aback, not by what he had just said, but also by the look in his eyes. They seemed to remind her of someone…* “Alright, Alright.” *She took out the form from her bag along with a pen and sat down.* “You said you wanted Harper to become Class President, right?”

Kai: *He nodded* “Yes ma’am.”

Huggins: *She erased something on the page, most likely Kai’s name, and then began writing Harper’s name* “Alright, it’s done. Don’t come crying to me later if you regret it.”

Kai: *He smiled and nodded* “Don’t count on it. Enjoy the rest of your day ma’am!” *He turned and left the room, jogging down the hall*

Huggins: *She shook her head and sighed, looking at the paper as she packed her things* “That kid…”
