“Hey mum? Can I go up to the hills to overlook the village like I did yesterday?” asked Evie. “Sure honey, just be back by sunset ok?” said her mother in reply. “OK!!” yelled Evie as she ran out of the door. As she was walking up the hill, her legs started to get tired. ‘I can do this!’ She said to herself. ‘Wait... I think I am the only 5-year-old that has climbed up this hill without mummy's or daddy's help! She felt as proud as a peacock. As she turned around to look at her village, something caught her eye, something that was not there yesterday it was a beautiful gold, white, and a bit of purple castle.as she slowly tuned to her beautiful village; she spotted her mother in her usual dirty clothing heading to the bakery, so she ran down the hill to get some bread as she was starting to get hungry. The next tueday, it was raining when Evie got her home from her mother's funeral, who had died in her sleep. the second she got home, the locked the door, fell on her knees, and urst out crying. I took Evie months to recover from her despair. each time she saw a child happy with their mother, she got mad, and stormed home.
