Arriving again at Aastrana, to be the first one to take the Astra selection again was something unbelievable. Entering Aastrana, everyone started to laugh at the 'useless' but the laughter was off when the Adhinēta Pujari and the Dhanush Pratha followed him. Venu deva and Kosalendra came down and monitored the re-astra selection. Aarav and his gang came down," Hey useless! For what have you come here? To clean our washrooms you stink!" Being ragged by the so called 'Hero' of the institute, everyone once again started laughing at him.
"I... I am here to get my astra. This time I will have one for sure."
The confidence in his voice was more than of their previous conversations. Aarav did not like that. He did not like Isavaka acting all confident and back answering him. "Okay, Isavaka please come to the Astra hall." said a tester of the Astra hall. Everybody hoped nothing of Isavaka except the Adhinēta Pujari and the Dhanush Pratha. Isavaka entered the hall and stood in the middle. HE closed his eyes to clam down himself. He recalled the fun movements and also the hardships he faced as the temple guard. He remembered the flute he heard during that night. He opened his eyes as a new Isavaka but not as that scared child. Now Isavaka is no longer that child mentality rather a warrior's mentality.
The Astras started revolving around Isavaka. The seven astras came forward and others went back. "Why do you want an astra?"
"I want an astra to protect. I could not do anything bare handed. I needed a stone to stop that skull but if I had an astra at that point, I might have caught him before the dawn and handed to the local Defenders. It was me who thought myself useless but now I declare myself: I am not useless, I am a protector. My duty is to protect everyone, everything and anywhere as I am bound to do so. I am an protector with or without an Astra. I can fight by myself or I will fight with the help of one of you seven energies."
"You have identified your true potential. You thought you are useless but many 'useless' have yielded Golden Astras but those who have the dignity to fight not for their own self or for showing off their so called greatness is not what a shadow is, a shadow is who has gain enough knowledge to battle the world with their strength with or without an Astra not like those who depend on the Astras. We thereby, ask forgiveness Mahatma, you have awakened the lack of strength with the immense knowledge what you have, had and will gain. Clear the final trial which one of us will give you as your Astra."
The astras started revolving fast and fast. The astras brewed up an whole tornado around Isavaka. Suddenly the tornado stopped and he froze up as a rock holding a bow of shadow-class in his hand. The Adhinēta Pujari and the Dhanush Pratha were shocked. Aarav and the other students' mouth kept open.
"Hahaha... so you have arrived... Ekha."
"Where am I and who are you?"
"I am Dharmaraja and I will be asking you a question. If you answer it correctly, you will go back to your world with a small gift. Till now not even a single person answered this question correctly, lets see if you can Ekha... Hahaha!"
"I am ready what is your question?"
"Why do you want an astra?"
"To protect everyone, everything, anywhere."
"You can't... because... YOU ARE GOING DIE!!!"
Lifting his long blade up and slashing it towards Isavaka's neck and stopping it exactly one millimeter between his neck and the blade. Isavaka was not startled and stood upright even it this life and death situation. Dharmaraja started laughing. His glowed up and became normal.
"You have survived Ekha. You surely will be a PROTECTOR. The gift will be waiting for you in your realm and it is a beast, a wind affinity tier 4 monkey...hmmm...ahh, Marangnam. You can call it Maru.
"O... Ok Dharmaraja and-"
The skin of his statue started cracking. The Adhinēta Pujari, Dhanush Pratha, Venu deva, Kosalendra and all the students present their were shocked. For the first time in history, a person survived the curse of the shadow class weapons.
"Isavaka Jayanth, you are welcome to Aastrana", said the Principal and an ex-Pratha, Venu deva
Isavaka trembled with happiness for his enrollment in Aastrana and a feeling a bow in his hands. In some heights observing this whole incident, a anger filled with hatred is soon the cause of an Legend to repeat.
