I got back and Energy asked me "What took so long" I lied and said "It was sold out just about everywhere" "Oh yeah it is flu season" "Yeah I hope this medicine kicks that cold ass since I had to drive halfway to the sun to get it." "Same" Energy then chugged the medicine and rinsed her mouth out with water.

We downloaded a new app called dingdong and it was pretty addictive you got to ring random peoples doorbells and they get money for it, we were going to put our houses on the app but our parents said no because they didn't want to be annoyed everyday by thousands of people ringing the doorbell for naught. We were a bit sad at the lost business opportunity and promised that when we had our own houses we would put them on the app. After we called my parents to tell them where I was, Energy kissed me and then went to sleep. I waited about 25 minutes so that they could go into a deeper sleep then I made my way out of the bed as quietly as possible. They stirred as I got out of the bed but they didn't wake up. She just took all the covers and buried herself in them.

I got my dark shirt and jeans out of my mom's car and reviewed the plan, before driving to my destination. I got out of the car and made my way to the base, because of last time I decided to hide farther into the bushes where I look like nothing but a shadow. This stopped me from being able to see the guards so I had to time when they were supposed to switch. As I got in the bushes I waited until their first switch then I set a 8 minute timer. I only had a fifteen second opening to go into the base, as the timer ended I waited a few more seconds to make sure they were gone. I waited too long because I could hear the next set of guards footsteps. Usually I would just wait for the next switch but now I was on a strict time limit so I ran as fast as possible and saw the guards flashlight run across my face as I just barely made it into the gate. The guard ran over to check on what just happened but I was already in the base so he didn't see me.

In Nights office everything looked the same, all the walls had the same decorations and all the drawers were labeled very neatly. This was because Night had severe OCD so I found the first drawer labeled 'Solar' in perfect handwriting. I opened it and there was a singular picture with him and Moone on it that said 'Brothers in crime'. I took a picture of the photo and looked for something else that would catch my eye I found another drawer labeled "Mission camp" I opened the drawer to see everything labeled A-Z I searched for M and found Moones file I opened the folder to see images of him and Night one in front of the facility I was trained in. Solar was in it he looked furious. I looked for more photos and found messages between both Moone and Nights lawyers a few days after Solars death I read the messages and then saw "Yeah those kids are apparently looking for Solars killer" "We got to prepare for when they come visit then" How fun Nights in on it too I'll need help I said to myself snapping more pictures before putting everything back and quickly got back to the car.

I drove back to Energys house and walked back in "Hey" I jumped at the sudden noise and saw Energy "There's something you're not telling me. Why?" "Um you should be resting i'm not hiding anything" I said "Stop lying to me you've been acting weird since everyone agreed to take a break from accusing people of murder!" I stood there in silence trying to figure out what to say to Energy "We promised we wouldn't hide anything from each other you're wearing long sleeve shirts and you never take your hoodies off as if there's something to hide, suddenly wearing all black, sneaking out, and making excuses. What are you not telling me Geia?"

You didn't even think to tell me where you were going, you lied to me." I sighed "I'm sorry but I didn't want to drag you into this especially because you're sick and now that you're my girlfriend I definitely can't let you get involved in something so dangerous." "I get that you're doing this for Solar but I'm not gonna let you do this by yourself." "I hav-" "I'm telling everyone else and we're going to help" "No. I cant le-" Energy crossed her arms. "That wasn't a question. Do you want to find this son of a bitch or not?" I smiled. "You know the answer to that." "Then you're not doing it without us, and since we're talking about secrets why did you start wearing sweaters so suddenly you and those hoodies used to be best friends.'' I took off the hoodie and put it on the couch. Then Energy started rubbing their hands along my stomach until they got to the bruise, all their previous emotions morphed into worry. "What happened?" "A guard thought I was a squirrel and threw a rock at me..." They stared at me blankly. "PFFT HAAAA HA" After Energy stopped laughing she continued. "That's exactly what you get for not telling me. How long has it been there?" "For 2 days now." "Why did you hide it I could've helped you." "I don't know, I guess I didn't want you to figure it out from looking at it." They smiled "You could've just lied and said you fell or something" "Would you have rathered that?" "Yeah it's better than you hiding it from me." "Saving into database for later use." I said in a robot voice Energy shoved me. "You're so dumb!" She said smiling at me.
